Validation Error
I have been getting this today too. I think that there might be some issues with the server. Also note that the live board on that is usually on the right side of the forum index is not there as it usually is. I guess they're quietly preparing for something to do with the Stats soon.

Funniest Moment
I have been thinking of notable ones I still have a good memory of, there was a recent one last week I was doing. I pulled over a guy for running a red, and asked him for ID, to which he replied that he "Left it at home." Usually, I'll ask them to step out, so then I may Frisk them and then arrest, when a bus pulls up, and runs down my partner, and then stops. I make him step off of his bus, to which he then also replies that he left his ID "at home" (seems to be a common occurance these days.)

how can u repair your car?
No need for SNT, really. When in your car, press the Tilde Key (~), then type in " heal " (without quotation marks) in the console, press enter, and it should instantly be healed (though note, this will also heal your officer, and possibly your partner too if they're in the car.) There are also some scrpits that do repairs as well.

Funniest Moment
Was this random ped wearing all black and sorta beefy looking? If so, sounds like you ran into one of the bouncers at the clubs. They tend to do that a lot it feels like when you find yourself in a gun situation near a club (like the Strip Joint in East Bohan). I had it happen a few times in the past, though I usually carry the taser on me, they usually drop their weapon (and themselves), and become extra cooperative.

1.0C
I can say, I definitely notice the improvement too! I don't have the game CTD'ing on me as much as it used to. Plus, I notice a that suspects now can forget their IDs too! Makes it more dynamic if you ask me. I like it, Thank you Development team!

How did you find out about LCPDFR?
Was talking with my friend about how nice it would be to have another game like World's Scariest Police Chases, but with proper traffic stops and such, where you played a Uniform LEO instead of the regular old 5-0 like almost every cop game out there. He was aware of the mod and showed me it. Within half a year, GTA IV was super cheap on Steam, and I instantly got LCPD:FR, plus all the vehicles I wanted (including my 1968 Polskie Fiat 125p that I use for most of my patrols.) I started out I think in the last weeks of 0.91, before 0.95 replaced it (and I can tell you, it was an interesting trip to RC2, quite a lot of people (myself included) had to go back to 0.91.)

Choosing enforcement vehicles
If by 4 wheel drive, you mean something like an SUV (i.e. the Police Patriot (GTA's "Hummer") used by the NOOSE teams in the default game), then you can get to choose it when you normally choose your vehicle. Just keep scrolling through all the available choices, it'll show up. Likewise, you can make it spawn by pressing the Tilde key (~), which opens up the console, then in that little screen that drops down, type " Spawn polpatriot " (without quotation marks), then pressing the Tilde key once again to make the console disappear. Note that you'll get it if you didn't replace that vehicle with something else, otherwise, you'll get what you have put into that slot, though I'm gonna assume you didn't change any of the cars in GTA IV and kept it just like you had it when you installed it (I personally replaced my Patriot with the Police Yosemite someone made, it fits the flavor of how I have things set up a little better.)

So i was responding to a Mugging when..
I usually see something like that happening with the Homeless Disturbance Calls (though sometimes they're trying to stab air too). But if you mean you get to the scene, and the guy is essentially holding the wall hostage! That's something new. Guess the game is putting the scene a couple feet off from where it should be.

UN Plans To Send Troops To South Africa Safe Havens, Fear Of White Genocide
I believe you have just proven my point then! To force people who have spent their whole lives, and have known no other home to leave, even if ancestrally are seen as a invasive force by the indigenous people, is just very much wrong. It is no better than what the non-indigenous peoples did to the indigenous population in the past. Of course, Israel and Palestine's circumstances, and how it got to where it is today is very different to that of South Africa. As I said, the white population, especially the Afrikaners (which are largely Dutch decedents) were there for generations as well. For most of those people, they have never known any other home aside from South Africa, and I'm sure a good many of them have possibly never even left Africa in their lives!

Whats with all the recent police shootings?
There were times when both actually crossed lines. IMO, I don't care, the whole Nazi War machine of the 30s and 40s, they were terrorist forces as far as I'm concerned. Otherwise, you just pretty much just told us that a lot of these groups can also be considered the same. They all claim to be part of some state they made themselves, carry weapons out in the open, some do have identifying uniforms, and claim to primarily target combatants (which is everyone that disagrees with them btw.) Hey! That brings me to my next point! I guess the definition of a combatant, like that of a terrorist comes down to how it's interpreted.

UN Plans To Send Troops To South Africa Safe Havens, Fear Of White Genocide
So, what you're telling me is that you are saying that people who have known that as their only home should leave because of what happened a very long time ago? Granted, most of us were alive when Apartheid was around, and was on its death bed. But your logic definitely falls apart quickly when you realize that the people who live there, likely didn't come from the UK directly, and were born and raised IN South Africa. To put it in perspective it would be like telling all the direct European descended Jews to leave what is today known as Israel, or the Ethnic Russians in places like Latvia and Ukraine (though they are hot issues now) to do the same, despite most of those people being born and raised in the land there! I do know about the issues in South Africa. I hear about them on the Radio late at night when the BBC is playing over our NPR affiliate, and read about, and it is worrying that very little is being done to actually address the problem from anywhere. While I on TV and such, they talk about the younger generation being united together, then I read and hear these issues that pop up over what happens there, and it worries me when I hear about these people that are out for massive amounts of Blood, after we see historically what happens when that is, and often the result is overall sadness and a massive overcast of national shame. Apartheid had ended only 20 years ago, I can only hope that 20 years from now, that all South Africans can find themselves truly on more equal footing, regardless of race or ethnicity.

Whats with all the recent police shootings?
On the hot part of the topic All members of Al Quieda/ISIS/Boko Haram are pretty much terrorists. But the converse isn't true, as not all terrorist are Islamic Extremists. What do you call Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols? Or how about Ted Kaczynski? Or the Columbine guys? Last I checked, they were not Muslims nor trained in a special camp in Afghanistan. Is there some accredited degree or certification program you can go through to become a terrorist? I'm not sure, but I highly doubt so. Anyways, a lot of these attacks of these sorts, just like eh Beslan School Massacre, as well as the train station bombers last year in Volgograd were premeditated attacks. So we're not dealing with a guy who snapped all of a sudden and killed a bunch of people within minutes, but rather someone, or some people who took weeks, months, even years of planning the attack. As for the guys fighting from Chechnya and the neighboring Oblasts? Yes they're civilians, but then they're not. It's some kind of weird grey area they're in. You can't and shouldn't call the various Nazi military branches from WWII civilians because they clearly were not civilians. In my opinion, be it a group like Al Quieda, or a an individual like Adam Lanza, or a recognized military, like the Nazi Wehrmacht from WWII. I honestly can't give to craps whether they're civilians or not, they're all terrorists in my opinion. It isn't a secret, this kind of lunacy, especially against kids in school isn't just limited to the US or Western Europe. Anyone who reads the news enough (and a source that covers a good portion of the world's stories) will find that every few months someone will attack school kids in a country with a knife or Hammer. Knowing some of these countries, I can't imagine how many times it might even be swept under the rug too! It has been a pretty violent year for Florida though compared with other years, especially for Law Enforcment. It seems a lot of fugitive Drifters from up north have made their way down here, and have found themselves shooting a cop (which the shooter themselves is found a couple hours later, dead due to a self inflicted gunshot wound supposedly. The two shootings that ended in a LEO fatality we've had in the Windermere area ended like that.) While the shooting in Nevada was definitely premeditated, the cases down here are more like idiots that were already on the run and made a pretty bad decision. I can't speak for those cases like the Nevada cop killers. But some of the recent shooters, like that Assistant Movie Director's kid or Adam Lanza, it seems more like they had some kind deep emotional scarring, as well as other difficulties in overcoming certain issues. Without the ability to understand, they had no peace. It is only a massive shame they chose to take down many non-deserving innocents with them. That does lead me to say, if you were crap to someone in the past, if you run into them someday, be it online, or in person. Just apologize to them and be nice to them, even if they might not take it well at first. It can certainly go a long way to help them deal them, and give them closure to help them move on more effectively.

[1.0b] Just saw a new ambient scenario!
And actually, it was implemented in 1.0! I ran into those at least 2 or 3 times on my first patrols when it was originally released! Usually find Drugs and a Weapon! Same here, aside from the pre-defined locations that someone is usually pulled over anyways in the Vanilla game (like the bridge between Algonquin and Charge Island).

LCPDFR 1.0b Taxi Bug
Well, I can't think of anything that could help right away. Best thing I can think of is the Traffic Flow mod, as it seems to be a good work around for the bug as far as I have experienced.

Malaysia Airlines MH370 Missing.
Problem is, usually these life rafts have some kind of Emergency Transmitter too when they're deployed. I remember reading some years back of either a Boeing crew or a airline maintenance crew that inflated one of these in the plane, apparently had some USCG equipment over them within minutes, and they were not pleased...

Malaysia Airlines MH370 Missing.
Right on with Poe's law! Anyways, I think the terror theory lost some of it's weight lately, since it was recently found that one of the two people with stolen passports were Germany Bound Iranian Asylum Seekers according to media reports. So this likely leaves a suicidal Crew member (It's happened before, remember Egyptair 990?), a control surface failure of some sort (along the lines of Alaska 261), or a Control system failure with possibly a mix of bad CRM (as seen in Birgenair 301 (though there was more to it than that obviously)). Of course, until we find the recorders, what happened may as well be as well known Voynich Manuscript's words (and no one alive today has apparently been able to decode it yet). I honestly think that the aircraft parts will be found, at least the recorders anyways. Right now, it's more than a matter of when than if, as sometimes, as debris does sometimes take up to a week or two to finally be found, with recorders being up to years (like AF447, sure debris was likely found within a day, but it took about 2 years before we knew the sequence of events after pitot tube failure.) Of course, a terror attack of some sort shouldn't be left out. But it is less likely now than it was a day ago. There are also some claims on the major news outlets saying the plane was indeed seen turning West on Military Radar.

Updated traffic stops
I don't know about the trigger for it, I think it is ok as it is now, albeit could be better (mostly having the "get out of your car" message begin more of a radius around the car, or at least making it such that the ped drives a little further forward if we're not satisfied with where they stopped before we get out (just like in reality.) On the second part, agreed, would be a need addition. On the last part, would also be a neat thing to add on, along with the ped producing the car's registration and insurance papers, just like a Police officer would want in reality. If you don't have those in order, or can't produce them, you usually get a citation IRL. As it is right now, if I get a owner Warrant, for example, I pull over the car, and when I run the ID, if the person isn't the person we're looking for (i.e. Computer comes up with no wants for the ped we pulled over), I set them off with a warning, on the assumption that it is not the person we're looking for. I'm not sure how the procedure would be handled IRL though through various departments.

Malaysia Airlines MH370 Missing.
I'd disagree with that statement. It is possible, but VERY difficult to do. Examples that come to mind are: This National Flight that ditched in the water, off the coast of Florida. Only fatality I recall was a Flight attendant that drowned after leaving the plane. These Aeroflot incidents had 100% survival I think: This JAL DC-8 found itself in the drink as well. It was apparently repaired and returned to service (those Douglas Birds, they just keep on going and going.) Even though this was still in the Piston era, PAA Flight 6 is a very well known case, and that was in the middle of the pacific: While a Pitot tube failure, even down to the nature of Birgenair 301's can't be completely written out, I have my doubts still. AF447's problem was that of flying in a situation where ice is likely (a storm), but also the fact that the Pitot Tubes were faulty, and not replaced on this (Airbus at around the same time issued a directive saying that the faulty ones should be replaced for better ones.) Here, the weather conditions showed weather in the area were not too bad from what I understand, and I don't think there is a problem with the 777's Pitot Tube system as the Airbus A330 and A340 had. Of course, it only takes a pattern of bad CRM in the cockpit to only turn it into such (albeit, the manufacture can't fix that part. Good CRM needs to be taught and encouraged by the airlines, and outside the US and most EU states, it has a rather classical approach of kissing up to the Captain, even if that lower ranking pilot knows for certain that they are right.) It is very interesting to see what comes out of this, stolen identities, mysterious disappearance, not to mention all sorts of stories from all around different sources. Most people had AF447 figured out within a day or two. I remember sitting a computer lab when I first heard of it, and heard of the weather conditions and said to myself "Had to have been a pitot tube failure (rather than the lightning strike theory which was madly popular with the media at the time.)" Here, it's very muggy, many things are still on the table.

Russian troops in Crimea
I can only hope that the folks in Western and Eastern Ukraine, and their leaders could sit down and talk out their issues. If Kiev wants to keep their present post 1954 borders, they should show that they'll do their best to protect the rights of Ukrainian citizens on both sides (I think making Ukrainian the sole official language helped worsen things IMO), and show that they can do this. On the other hand, there are reports on the BBC of Crimians attacking foreign nationals unprovoked on the streets right now. It's getting pretty ugly out there. I'm not sure if a World War would start from this, but it would make for a bloody and terrifying conflict if it does escalate either way. As I mentioned earlier, the last time outside a World War a conflict was fought in this region, it was fought with a pretty bad loss of life. Similar issues too caused it to happen too, especially on the Ukrainian side. I hope this gets solved without any foreign military firing a bullet.

Be it Adam-12, Emergency, or even the Polish "Program 997", a view just behind the light-bar is always awesome IMO.

Northern California School Bans American Flag Shirts
Personally, if they shouldn't be allowed to wear American Flags, their counter parts shouldn't be allowed to wear anything relevant to Cinco de Mayo. I feel that perhaps it'd be in their best interest to maybe find some activities to help maybe start some dialog and understanding between the two sides if it is that bad. Much better than creating more dislike for a portion of the school's population because of a knee-jerk reaction. I mean, I went to a school that had a very heavy Hispanic population, but we also had some guys that had no issue wearing the US flag, as well as some who also wore the Rebel flag, and very rarely it really ever made trouble. Of course, when there were fights, it wasn't so much because of cultural or racial differences, but more to do with typical teenage garbage, like girls and such. Even watched some girls that got into a fight with each other get tazed by the school's security guards (that one actually resulted in a big settlement if I'm not mistaken). As a Floridian, I can say the Zimmerman case was a mess (believe me, our local networks had 24/7 coverage of the case, folks watching CNN and FOX News only aired snippets of what they wanted people to hear), and the evidence was to give him a murder or even a manslaughter charge wasn't there for one reason or another. The National media did a horrendous job covering this, and was just listening to one side (hell, if you listened to how they described Sanford, FL during the whole thing, you'd think it's Birmingham, AL in the mid 1960s, but in reality the town wasn't that separated racially. I've gone there for many years, and during the stuff too and aside from the large groups bussed in from Miami and news trucks everywhere, it was the same town it typically was, and most everyone got along fine. Of course, it does have its issues, the poorer parts of Goldsboro and Washington Oaks neighborhoods come to mind here.) Personally, I felt that a Manslaughter charge would've been acceptable for him, he was incredibly negligent. It comes down to what you were given, and what you could use in a case to base your verdict on, and the defense worked hard to get as much stuff as they could thrown out! The state witnesses were incredibly weak too and couldn't make their point, and when they could, the defense found some way of throwing it out. As for Casey, that was the textbook definition of a circus if there was one. Unfortunately, our media keeps telling us every time either one of those idiots goes to the bathroom it feels like. Right now, we're hearing about the Civil suit against her by Zenida Gonzalez, and it's looking to be as much of a freaking circus as it was before. Next time the RBBX train comes to Orlando, they should consider stopping, and picking up this clown, as Circuses seem like her thing. Of course, there was a case where a woman got 20 years up in Jacksonville for just firing the weapon. No one killed, but still got 20 years. Thankfully, people have spoken up after the Zimmerman case, and she is being given another chance in court due to improper Jury instructions from the original case apparently. Hopefully the state compensates her like hell on this case here. So as we see here, it isn't so much what the public feels is right, or what even the jury feels is right, but how well (or bad) the instructions are delivered to the Jury, and how they can act on those instructions. I'd HATE to have been a juror on either one of those cases. Thankfully, I should be free from it for up till September, as I already did my service to Orange County's courts.

Russian troops in Crimea
Yeah, I'm amazed at how quick they get these Compilations up. Do have to say, with well over 110,000+ miles experience on the roads here, it does make me wonder what would happen if we had those cameras used on cars here in Florida, especially Central FL and South FL. Do have to agree with most of that there. It's also hard to hide the fact most of these vehicles have black and white plates that say "RUS" on them as well. I can't give an explaination to it either, nor do I want to make some. As I said, I really don't like what's going on at all, but am really not surprised either. I remember when the Kiev protests started being shown more, thinking that the Eastern Half isn't too impressed with them.

Russian troops in Crimea
I'm just sitting here and hope we don't see another war of 1919-1921. I have family that doesn't live too far from the border, and it does seem to have some parallels with the times, especially with the US maybe not being too happy about the Russian military movement, but not wanting to do much due to the idea being politically unpopular at war. Except there was a treaty about 20 years ago. Look up the Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances. I don't think it specifically would say the US and UK would send troops to Ukraine to protect it though, in the event of a Russian invasion, or vice versa. It was signed in exchange for Ukraine to give up their nuclear arsenal (which was the 3rd largest at the time.) Also, while the US had little to do with Ukraine before WWII even, the events from 1918-1921 then did have many European Countries find themselves involved, and Ukraine was a big center of it too (in fact, it did have a bit of an impact about 20 years later in the region.) This whole thing is a mess, really, and things I hear on both sides worry me greatly.

Problems with a Girl
As I said earlier, it depends on the state. In Florida, if she's still under 24 and he's 16 or older, it calls into this difference of age Loophole. Each state is a little different on how this is approached. In some states, it's strictly 18 or older, in quite a few others, it is as low as 16. Then like In Florida, the law says 18 with certain exceptions. Just wanted to clear up the legality POV for US, as unlike a lot of countries, it really doesn't run a strict national basis (or it doesn't yet.)
-
Problems with a Girl
I don't know where the OP is from, but in the US it depends on the state. For example, officially age of consent is 18, but we have this age loophole that allows for someone as young as 16 to have certain relations with someone up to the age of 24. So in FL, this would be considered a legal relationship. On this girl. I'm just simply amazed someone would just be throwing a $900 cell phone at someone they barely know. Now have you talked to this chick a little more to get what's going through her mind? If so, I'm just baffled, and due to lack of information other than what I've read, I can't really recommend much more than that. I wish you luck in finding a way to get through this. It's an interesting story so far!
