[1.0b] Just saw a new ambient scenario!

Featured Replies

So I saw two guys acting suspicous and it looked like they were dealing drugs, so I stopped them and frisked them and they had illegal drugs on them!

Just wanted to get that out there!

And actually, it was implemented in 1.0! I ran into those at least 2 or 3 times on my first patrols when it was originally released! Usually find Drugs and a Weapon!

LMFAO. I did get this in 1.0a as well. I still haven't seen an AI officer pull over a civilian yet. I really want to see that.

Same here, aside from the pre-defined locations that someone is usually pulled over anyways in the Vanilla game (like the bridge between Algonquin and  Charge Island).

Talking about new things: I noticed we can now check ped's ID via radio which wasn't possible in the earlier versions I believe. Check it, it's a small addition but I enjoy it soo much.

I've noticed this option when doing ped stops but is it an option for traffic stops? it can be alot of work going back and forward from the terminal in your car, i've not seen anywhere that its an option in a traffic stop

What I do on certain stops is ask the ped to step out and then I'll check his/her ID and call it in.  If all is well, I wrap up the stop and ask the ped to get back in the car.

Works like a charm and can be a bit more efficient at times.

The drug deal ambient scenario is pretty cool and you kinda have to be paying attention to see the suspicious activity itself.  Very cool scenario though.

I noticed this once too

I was cruising along and I saw a guy hand something to another guy, then they started walking off. When I told them to stop, they ran, so I tasered one of them, detained him, then chased and arrested the other, one turned out to have a weapon, the other, had drugs
