First of all, apologies to everybody affected by the issue with controller bindings. Unfortunately I made a mistake which resulted in the INI file not actually being read in, so the hard-coded defaults are always used. This applies to all settings in the INI file. This is fixed in the next beta release (not yet available). Second, I've made massive improvements to the animations. The ped still pops up very briefly when the medics first arrive on scene, but it's for only a split second now. The peds shouldn't be standing up or flying around any more. I'm still making some tweaks, but these changes will be included in the next beta release. Thanks to all who have been helping with the beta testing! We're making good progress, and I'm excited to finish polishing the mod until it's ready for a general release.

If you want help, please post more information. Don't put the onus on other people to contact you to help you. Post a code snippet and explain what you've tried and how it hasn't worked, or has worked differently than expected.

Mods are not and will not ever be possible on console platforms.

Error in your XML file. Line 51, you have a chance with no value.

Per the support instructions included in the Custom Backup Readme file, please upload as an attachment (do not paste in as you have done here) your RPH log file, your Custom backup INI file, and your XML file, in the forum thread for the mod.

Just type forceduty into the RPH console (F4) and you'll go on duty. Or, jump while walking forward and pressing F9.

Those are extra audio files you can use if you want. Note the documentation in the readme about setting your own audio clips for different units in your XML file.

I'll have to take a closer look at how it works and think about what might be appropriate. Hopefully you and the Computer+ author can work together - it would be nice to have one police computer mod, so callout/plugin authors don't have to try to make their stuff compatible with two different computers.

I don't have any callout plugins yet, but would love to help integrate my Custom Backup and Better EMS mods if appropriate. Are any of the Computer/MDT mods including a mechanism to call for backup from the computer? I could also do something like integrate the EMS Incident Reports with the police computer. @fiskey111 will you be exposing an API to allow adding custom reports? And if you'd like to integrate with Custom Backup, I'm going to extend the Custom Backup API to allow you to call for backup through it. Just want to add, I'm very proud of the scripting community here for being so helpful to each other and collaborative. I'm glad that so many plugin authors are now including APIs and using APIs from other plugins. Whereas there's constant drama in the vehicle modding community over somebody using a lightbar or whatever, the scripting modders are much more open and collaborative. And, newcomers to scripting always seem to get lots of help in the forums. Sharing is caring - keep up the good work everybody!

I suggested this before too. It wouldn't be that hard for them to implement, but it seems like the website developer has too much other stuff to do.

On a similar note, does SetPedAsArrested make them go through the arrest animations? Will the built-in suspect transport come get them automatically?

The built in EMS is so-so, but I'm working on an updated EMS system which should be released sometime soonish!

Assuming you're using RPH, paths will be relative to the location of the ragepluginhook.exe executable. So, you'll want to say "Plugins\PluginName\MyXML.xml" as the path.
