  1. There are a couple of peds in the Heist DLC that can be used, for cops at least: FIBSEC and DOA. They might not be perfect when it comes to how the original peds are set up (was't able to modify a new Paramedic ped and have them dispatch correctly), but will probably be functional enough.
  2. Try re-downloading and reinstalling the files, and make sure the correct additions to your text files are made.
  3. Nope, the entry just has to load after the original, which means in any DLC files since the original file isn't even in update.rpf.
  4. All of the original game cars are controlled in a still-locked ymt file. You can make an entry in any of the DLC equivalents, however, and it will be used instead.
  5. An AMR-style skin would be nice. The only new acronym I can come up with is for San Andreas Rescue Services (could also use Safe America Rescue Services), which fits with the original MRSA skin. Also, is this for the default ambulance or an edited model?
  6. Very nice! A new vehicle for some variety.
  7. Nice. Should use the Los Santos County logo from the original texture. Also, that ambulance texture interests me. Note: Firetruk was updated in patchday3, if you want to replace x64e in the description..
  8. And there with be an xml customization file where you have in-depth control over what vehicles and peds are called for what backup types in various areas.
  9. update.rpf/common/data/levels/gta5/vehicles.meta is the only one you have to change.
  10. The only way to currently do that is to create an entry for the vehicle in one of the DLC carvariations file.
  11. I've got a list on my main PC, but you can always use the latest patchday files and the game will always load those.
  12. This will get me back to messing with LSPDFR (along with the supposed performance fixes R* finally got around to). This sort of dispatching script really needs a standalone version that can replace the normal game's Wanted dispatching because of the limitations it suffers. Having both counties with distinct units along with LS, plus a wider selection of SWAT capable vehicles other than just FBI2 and Sheriff2, and better control over certain aspects would be a great improvement over what we can do now.
  13. If you don't have the Steam version, the launcher runs a file check every time you launch, and if it detects modified files, it will replaced them with unmodified ones. To avoid this, use the Mods Folder function of OpenIV.
  14. Is the SirenSetting value 1? That's the on the Granger uses,
  15. Check whatever trainers you use and make sure any "Ignore Player" options are turned off.
  16. Don't have to do all the work yourself, so go for it and let someone else do some skinning.
  17. That's because the police3 slot has different color settings defined in the original carvariations, which isn't yet viewable. I don't know if there's a resource on the color settings around, but yo can mess with them and see what happens. Because the DLC files have both the required meta files, so it's easier to keep it all together, Plus it seems sometimes certain vehicles need to load after certain DLCs in order to work.
  18. Should avoid the patchday files unless just editing existing vehicles. I recommend using mpchristmas2; when I went to using mpluxe2, I started getting memory errors. I went back to christmas with the same vehicles and no issues yet. Sometimes you'll find that some vehicles can cause crashes using that, and those you can stick in mpluxe2 as I've done with several.
  19. Wow, that completely ruins the ability to quickly edit and view textures.
  20. Might actually be in patchday3, but putting the new files in patchday4 will load those instead anyways.
  21. Well, editing ped variations would be an easier way, but I think that's controlled in files that haven't yet been cracked open.
  22. Most likely the same way they did with IV, sidestep the game's system and make their own using other methods.
  23. Is that true for all sirensetting values? I wonder if sets vary or if it's a hard limit in the engine or files we can't edit yet.
  24. I've always tended to forget that when first adding new vehicles myself.
  25. Well, there can be such a thing if you follow the steps to add a new vehicle.
