barrior and cones dont show on the phone thing.. how do u get it?

Hello Abraxas, I am having some trouble with this mod. When I was playing on gta iv 1.0.4.0 the mod was working without a problem, but after I did a fresh install and reinstalled LCPD:FR so I have GTA 1.0.7.0 now my game freezes whenever I open the help. My cursor just sits there and I am able to open the map menu so I can reload the game and I am able to reload the scripts i the console except my game remains frozen. I've tried all 3 versions and am using the same mods as I did when I ran 1.0.4.0, All mods are up to date also.

 

Edit. I received assistance and everything works like a charm now!

That was quick ;) I guess you ha to set your resolution manually.

I installed Police Helper but when I press X in game, nothing comes up. Any idea why?

First of all you have to check if mod started. To do that you can check your ScriptHookDot
Net.log where you will find whole list of started mods If it didn't started there is a strong chance you installed it wrong.

 

Second cause may be your enb settings. Try to change force resolution settings in PoliceHelpers INI file.

Question pertaining to updates of PoliceHelper; when you are including callouts, would it be possible to script a shooting that has already taken place? - you and other officers could canvas the area looking for the shooter.  I was playing around with your excellent METT mod when the idea hit me, from this shot in particular.

Could policehelper add an option to close only the rear doors of your patrol car? It is not normal that you take the prisoner to the police station and go out of the car behind you when you stop a vehicle (skipped a red light, has hit a pedestrian...) pursue another suspect, etc.

Do you mean locking rear doors that prisoner can't get out of the car? As far as I know that is impossible. You can lock whole car only, not separate doors.

OK, so for everyone that missed gallery updates, here are some teaser shots of new features of PoliceHelper.

 

In-game settings screen. Yup, every option will be set in game, except force resolution. PS: Settings screen has already more options than you see in this picture

 

Lights altering road cones at night

 

If you want you can install flares prepared by Sniper 296 and they will replace lights.

 

And last but not least, new hep screen. There are some cool new things to spot on that screen but I won't reveal anything about callouts and events. I can only say that traffic events are almost finished and are pretty cool.
