Sadly, I'm crashing shortly after I load up a save after installing the mod.

Help?

It's memory related.

Send me your vdH_Errors.log if you have one (it should be in main GTA directory) and ScriptHookDotNet.log. Without these I can't tell anything. I think you are the first person to have crash on load of the script.

The device don't show when i press x. It seems that the mod is doesn't load. I'm using steam and resolution 1980x1080.

Check if you installed it correctly. To see if mod is installed look at console just after loading game. There is a list of all loaded mods. Also you can try to put barrier or road cone.

Does your game pause when you press X? If yes try to set forceresolution settings in ini file. If not it means that script crashed or was not present at all.

Can't wait. Looks like you put alot of effort into this one . Will it slow down my game tho?

PH shouldn't affect game's performance. As every script, it's not 100% stable, so small crashes (script is protected from them, so usually it won't crash whole script or game) can cause some memory loss and on some systems it can cause texture loss or game crash after logn play, but it's rare.

I've been playing it and I LOVE IT! rating it 10/10 and I love the bait car system. :biggrin: :biggrin:

Do you use custom skin for PH? I yes, maybe get rid of it?

There are no vDH error logs present.

I deleted all other script mods and its working fine now, except for the fact that if I Alt+Tab out of the game, and maximize it again, it simply shuts the game down. Not sure if Policehelper is the one doing it.

Never alt+tab out of the game just like that. First get into menu, then alt+tab, otherwise It will usually crash.

Yes, I press Esc usually and then press Alt+Tab. Rarely ever I need to Alt+Tab straight out of the game.

i love the mod i been using it sice the 1st release  & it's great i love the bait car i gave 3 version of gta iv ny la & winter ny & i got this mod on all of them great job keep up the good work. i do have 1 question would it be possible to have bait car senerios like they have in tru tv's bait car for example sometime the undercover officer in the baitcar pull over & get in another car with someone or the baitcar be pulled over & the driver arrested & taken away leaving the running bait car for the take. just wondering regardless of this idea bait car is still amazing

First one creates too many new variables. I can't "mark" ped as player's partner and to have it managed by LCPD:FR. I could add him as bodyguard but what if you have your partner with you. Too many things that can go wrong, and yet another ped model to load. I try to limit loaded peds as it may case freezes on some systems. Even in LCPD:FR I have sometimes some of shoot-out peds frozen, especially in Leftwood.

I don't understand second one. After arrest you are able to get into bait car again and start all over again. 

First time I've read about this mod. I've seen it used in videos on YouTube but never known what it is or read exactly all it's features! This is great, going to download this as soon as I get LCPDFR at the end of the week! Great work!

Not yet. I may release smaller update this year to test whole new architecture of mod, but you won't tell the difference. It will have only minor new features so don't get your hopes too high. Version after that one will bring a lot more stuff.
