There are some scripts wich replace that with some LCPD speeches. Just take a look and you will see that even if in 0.4 won't be added that you won't need it. Afaik there are no speeches for LSPD wich contains that. So they will need to use some files from another games maybe.

True or some voice actors would work too. I'm sure we have some striving actors around here

I'm sure this was probably asked years ago and maybe even recently, but any chance in 0.4 we will be able to ask for some ID or request license\registration versus saying Kifflom?

Man that's the cool part "Kiflumit up" and "Get in the car and behave" Looool

Man I've been Kiffloming it up since 2015. I don't have any Kiffloms left to give :teehee:

devs, you should make some stuff open source so that others can go and create a LSPDFR multiplayer/co-op if you're not going to

shame an entire portion of the mod is missing because of the fear of big bad wolf take2 coming for you

you have created an entire mod website dedicated to distributing mods, i think working toward a multiplayer wont make a difference

"It's been more than 3 weeks since the announcement of 0.4. People keep getting hit with "it's ready when it's ready!", "can't you wait?!11" and "devs need more X". There is still nothing on contents of the upcoming 0.4 version of every GTA V cop's favorite mod, neither there is anything on the exact definition of "soon" by Our Glorious Police Chief.

But we are still waiting. We strenghten ourselves by repeating over and over great promises of unprecedented character customization and guessing new additions, some of which are rumored to make tried and true LSPDFR feel like an entirely new mod. We stand our watch..." -Officer Ronson to officers Ronson and Ronson

Customization is great, but such things as AI behavior, integrated partner system and (generally speaking) quality of life features really shouldn't be left without proper attention.

I hope the AI will see some major improvements. Default cops are too aggressive, they pay no attention to speed limits, cause traffic accidents (a lot more often than their earlier LCPD counterparts from GTA IV) and easily roll over players, peds and each other. I wholeheartedly hope that 0.4 won't be just a shift towards EUP own features.

I'm not following you on this one.  Pursuits aside, cop AI are generally follow traffic laws.  I've yet to see any AI officer drive around like a mad man under normal circumstances.

Here's the example. No sane person will drive like that. It's erratic, it's too fast and, as you can see, this is one of those cases when they hit someone (now it's the player). And judging by lightbar, that cop isn't actively pursuing anyone.

All these YouTube vidoes are great for searching AI quirks, imo.

I mainly meant during the normal flow of traffic with nothing going on.  During and after a callout, yes, they do have issues.

And so I did say that I'd love to see those issues fixed one day.

Speaking of driving issues, suspect fleeing AI could use a lot of improvement in two ways: slowing them down when they get far enough away from the player since they don't have to deal with avoiding traffic like they would at close range and like the player does, and otherwise making them more able to overtake other vehicles instead of getting stuck behind or besides them.

Is there any way to prevent THAT from happening? Cops really are too aggressive. Should something small happen and we get a corpse on our hands, thanks to inadeuqate reactions of AI cops.

In my opinion, it would be cool to have the possibility to call the FIB. Everytime I play, I want to call the FIB but I can call just the N.O.o.S.E and the LSPD/LSSD......

I'm really not trying to shoot your suggestion down, so I do apologize if it seems that way.  It's not that often PDs have to call in the feds.  They might if they need a hostage negotiator, or an FBI SWAT team.  Personally, I have never had an instance where I thought 'the feds could help me about now.'

Can you please give me some examples of what scenarios you would want to call them in, so I can understand you a bit better? :)

What's great about LSPDFR is that everyone can play it their way. Do you want to play it as realistically as possible? You can do that. Someone wants to play it a bit less realistically or even have it completely arcadey and rambo-ish? Why not give them the ability too?

You can add the FIB to the backup.xml.

This might be a possibility for a different mod and not completely relate to LSPDFR, but wouldn't it be sweet if we could configure our own backup in some kind of menu (sort of like LCPDFR config menu during installation) and we could select units, cars, weapons, etc. in that menu? Then we save it, and it's usable in the game. It would be even cooler if LSPDFR added a vehicles DLC, then using the menu we could add add-on vehicles with just a few clicks and some scroll-down menus for things like handling, sound, flags, etc.

That would be awesome. Unlikely, especially for the vehicles DLC, but it would be an extremely useful feature to be able to configure the backup in a menu.

I don't mean it like that, folks are welcome to play however they please.  I'm thinking of it from a standpoint of "how often would this actually be used?/Is it a desperately needed feature?"  Trying to help out the devs. :P

I’m pretty sure LSPDFR already gives you the ability to customise what backup up can call. There should be a backup.xml in you LSPDFR folder that allows you to do this.

Yeah, the best and greatest feature of this mod is its customizability (I'm just making my own words it seems). API + .xml files provide us with almost unlimited freedom, and I thank the team for that!

Just fix the dumb AI, pleeeeeease :P

I agree with you there, all I would like to see in terms of customisation is the change the sub-headings of the backup menu. But overall, great plugin!
