@LMS You sir, is a legend... Thank you so so much.. If you don't mind me asking. What was it making the text overlap?

Yeh its really doing my head in. Posted in Rages discord and has no answers at all. I really dont want to have to restart this system all over again. But if i can't find a fix. Then nothing more i can do but to remove the whole MDT system.

@LMS or @Cyan Could you let me know if this is getting looked into as a API bug please. Just so i can update my users on discord please.

It's currently the Christmas period and most of our time has been spent on updating both the website then RPH twice for GTA updates. So whilst this will be looked at, I would not expect an immediate fix.

RPH hasn't changed the forms code in a very long time, so whatever has broken is either a change in GTA/rendering code, or due to RPH changes having to cater to game/rendering code changes.

Thank you, yeah i fully understand its christmas. I do not need a quick fix, just a answer to if it was being looked into. I can let the users know. I can limit the amount of popup windows for now anyways.

I thought it might be a rendering issue and ovs i can not do anything about that if it comes from RPH. I am happy to wait and ill update my page with a link to this post so users can keep updated.

Again @Cyan Thank you for taking the time to look at this.

    Thanks for looking into this.
I’ve confirmed the issue occurs with a minimal Gwen-only plugin on GTA v3717 using the bundled RPH.

I’ll post the full minimal project shortly so it can be tested directly on your side.
As you can see on a very basic form its happening. Load the plugin and press F7 both forms will show. Iv also uploaded the VS basic package.

Again thank you so much for taking the time to look at this.

Did the last update to LSPDFR or RPH mess with the text rendering or the way the Gwen forms renders text. Before the last update, the MDT i am creating for my mod was working all fine. No issues at all see below images

Then after the update. MDT not been updated for some time. See below

As you can see there is a text bleeding onto the other forms. This has never been a issues since creating the MDT system. Below is another image showing nothing wrong since before the last update.

Iv tried to hack it to death to try and fix it but with no luck. @Cyan As requested i made a post lol.

Thank you in advanced for any help or answers.

OfficerAlexis reacted to Cyan in Welcome to the new LCPDFR.com (LCPDFR.com 9!)
Since October of last year, we’ve been hard at work on a modern, refreshed redesign of LCPDFR.com. Today, we’re excited to finally share it with you.

This new version of the site isn’t just a visual upgrade. Behind the scenes, we’ve rebuilt a lot of the core systems that power LCPDFR.com – from the way pages load, to how content is organised, to the tools we’ll be able to build on top of this platform going into 2026 and beyond. We’ve also migrated our custom downloads system and several other bespoke features onto this new foundation.

This launch marks the ninth design update LCPDFR.com has had, and it’s the biggest change since our last major overhaul in 2015 – almost a decade ago.

A Fresh Look, Built for Today
The new site introduces a clean, modern interface designed to be faster, clearer and more intuitive to navigate.
    Light & Dark Mode
The site now supports a fully integrated light and dark mode that follows your operating system’s preference. If you’d rather choose manually, you can toggle between themes using the control at the bottom of the site.
    Redesigned Editor
Our content editor has been completely rebuilt. It’s more powerful, more responsive, and much easier to use than the previous version. Whether you’re writing mod descriptions, making posts, or writing private messages, the editing experience should feel significantly smoother.

    Mods: Front and Center
Mods are at the heart of LCPDFR.com, so we’ve made sure they’re easier than ever to find and browse.
    Mods First in Navigation
You’ll now see the Mods portal prominently placed as the first item in the navigation, reflecting what most visitors come here for.
    New Grid-Based Layout
Mods are now presented in an expansive grid view, making it easier to scan through content, compare options at a glance, and discover new creations.

    Improved Tag Browsing
Tags now play a much bigger role in helping you discover content. Clicking any tag will take you to a dedicated tag results page, where you can explore all related content in one place.

    Smarter Search
Finding exactly what you’re looking for should feel quicker and more flexible.
    Quicksearch with Filters
The quicksearch has been upgraded with built-in filters, including the ability to search directly by tags. This makes it easier to narrow down results and jump straight to the content you care about.

A full search overhaul is in progress, and what you see in quicksearch today is just a small preview of what’s coming.

    Known Issues
As with any major platform change, there are a few rough edges we’re already aware of:
Some content pages under LSPDFR, LML, and RESOURCES may currently appear broken or incorrectly formatted. We’re actively working on fixing these layouts.
The GTA V Native Database is currently not displaying.
Some profiles are showing an error 500.
There are some issues with LSPDFR Sync, we have paused our Pateron until fully resolved.
A small amount of users may be experiencing issues with notifications.
Multiple issues reported by community members (thank you) in this thread.
Some of these have now been fixed. Please continue to report any issues you see.
Thank you for your patience while we work through these issues. Your feedback here is especially helpful, so if you spot anything else that looks off, please let us know.

    What's Next and Fixes
This redesign is just the foundation for what’s coming next. With the new platform in place, we’ll be able to iterate more quickly and deliver new features faster than before. Over the next days and weeks, our main focus will be on tightening up the rough edges from this migration and fixing the issues that you might find.
Here are some of the things at the top of our list:
New API for the Mods Center
We've almost finished work on a new API for our mod center - we just have a few changes to make and we hope to share updates on this in the coming days.
    Full Search Overhaul
Beyond the improvements you can already see in quicksearch, we’re planning a complete search upgrade to make finding content more accurate, more powerful, and more pleasant overall.
    Visual and UX Polish
You may notice small visual quirks, spacing issues, or inconsistent elements across the site. We’re tracking these and will be rolling out incremental polish updates as we go.

This is a big milestone for LCPDFR.com, and we’re really excited to finally share it with you. Take a look around, try out the new features, and let us know what you think – your feedback will help us shape the next round of improvements.

We also hope to have some LSPDFR Enhanced news to share with you in the coming days.

    Cyan.

Agreeing with Lennyy here, I originally started with QuantV's free version, switched to NVR, then NVE, and used that for the longest time. Both are performance-heavy, especially if you end up using Reshade or ENB. Though this is with using an actual PC, not a laptop, so results could vary.

I am also currently using CoreFX alongside ENB (CoreFX has one, but I've made my own). I don't like paying for graphics mods, as many people don't.

Needless to say, try out CoreFX with or without the ENB that they provide, and then install or modify your emergency lighting to your preference if you don't like it.

Hi, im not sure if this has been asked. I'm trying to work out the detaining API for my mod. I know LSPDFR default hold to put in back of vehicle and so on. I just need to know the API call thats called when putting in vehicle so the ped does not get out and auto follow. Albos arrest manager that im updating has put in vehicle but ped gets out cos its not calling the Detaining API.

    Thanks

Plugins that use memory editing will most likely not work out of the box and require an update from their developer. Given that Bejoijo hasn’t updated his plugins in a long time, you might be out of luck here. Luckily there is a replacement in the works by a few developers from the community.

That is a fantastic news! Thank you very much for this long awaited progress update, I am (really) looking forward to see what the team has been cooking under the hood!

On a small side note, I am simply amazed to see everyone (the devs and community) so involved in making LSPDFR bigger and greater every day, and I am so happy when I see how far this mod came from... A big thank you to everyone involved reading this, your passion is amazing to see and follow!

    Status Updates
    LSPDFR for Enhanced
We're very excited to announce that LSPDFR Enhanced, after months of development and testing, is now entering the next phase of the development process and is now available to our Insiders. We are deeply grateful to everyone in our staff team and closed testing community for their feedback and support that have brought us to this point.

The current build is largely stable, though a handful of bugs remain and we are not yet feature complete with Legacy. Development is advancing quickly, and each new revision brings us closer to a fully polished release.

Several community members have asked whether the Legacy edition will continue to receive attention. Both RAGEPluginHook and LSPDFR have been engineered to accommodate the Legacy and Enhanced branches side‑by‑side. With most of the heavy lifting complete, our goal is to roll out updates to both editions in parallel.

As soon as we’ve smoothed out the last few wrinkles and made sure everything runs flawlessly, we can’t wait to roll out LSPDFR Enhanced to everyone.

    The new LCPDFR.com
Work on the redesigned LCPDFR.com is progressing steadily. The site and its companion, RDR2Mods.com, run on the same underlying codebase.
An early version of the community upgrade is already live on RDR2Mods.com, allowing us to gather real‑world feedback, refine new concepts, and further stabilize the platform before bringing the enhancements to LCPDFR.com.

We thank you all for your patience and continued enthusiasm, and hope to share even more with you soon.

    Hello people!

This is a thread to discuss about, request functions & support and show WIP development for my plugin BasicParkingEnforcement!
Feel free to put anything you have in your mind in the comments!

What is going into the next release?
    - Texture based tickets/parking meters/permits (more on that below)
    - Way to select if you want the textures or ticket etc. display we have now in the ini
    - Being able to set streets as parking meter streets (texture included)
    - Adding parking permits in addition to pay&display tickets (randomly ;))
    - Ability to set probabilities for expired/no ticket/attack/etc. in the ini
    - ...

So to start this off, what do you think of having textures like these instead of the display over the map?:

!!I will remove the "Expires time" on the permit and just leave the date, just wanted to put this out here!

I will update this thread whenever there is something new to show 🙂

Good decision to play LSPDFR (again) and good to have you here.

I play LSPDFR several years and I modded the game to perfection. The provided Links here are hand picked and my favourites. It runs very stable and my aim is to achieve the greatest possible degree of realism and immersion and I attach great importance to realism and immersion. I have often read the question about stable plugins. That's why I decided to open this thread. i'm taking the time here to list the plugins with the links because i want to give something back to this community.

They update their game. Modders have to change their hooks around it. In this case, a few established memory patterns broke, although the impact to LSPDFR itself was minimal.
There was very little to no error handling on the SHVDN side to their memory patterns breaking which has led to a large uptick in support queries (it also does not help most users don't even know they have it installed). Something around vehicles/sirens changed, impacting ELS and SSLA. And the usual game recompilation which leads to SHV and RPH needing updated. None of these changes are "intentional" on the part of Rockstar, the breakage is a consequence to how mods for GTA V work. They cannot be expected to not touch their game code in fear of breaking the modding community, especially when the modding community recovers so quickly.

Rockstar probably does not give too much thought on people who have made mods for their game when they update it, and that's okay. We are a small community compared to the target audience of their game updates (GTA Online players). It would be great if somehow singleplayer and multiplayer were separated a little, but they're not.

Hello everyone! As you’ve seen, the new “Bottom Dollar Bounties” update introduces several new vehicles that we’ve integrated into LSPDFR. Alongside these additions, there have been a few behind-the-scenes changes necessitating updates from developers for their mods.

In this news post, I’ll outline the updates for the most commonly used mods in the LSPDFR community and provide guidance on what needs updating. While the focus is on the LSPDFR community, I’ll also include general information beneficial to any user of GTA V modifications.

    LSPDFR and RAGEPluginHook (RPH)
Both LSPDFR and RAGEPluginHook required updates for this new patch:
The fixes are included in LSPDFR build 8943 and RPH 1.110, both of which are part of the latest LSPDFR download. This update includes support for the new “Bottom Dollar Bounties” vehicles, adding five new police vehicles to the default LSPDFR loadout. Additionally, it includes general quality-of-life fixes from our maintenance branch, reduces the spawn chance of the gauntlet, and addresses an oversight allowing the gauntlet to spawn for prisoner transport. Update 30th June 2024: Microsoft Defender has incorrectly introduced a false positive detection for RPH in a recent definition update. If you're affected, you'll see RPH briefly mentioning 'Verifying Hook' and crash. It may not be sufficient to just exempt your GTA folder; To start RPH, it may be necessary to temporarily disable your AV. You can re-enable your AV when RPH starts and hooks successfully.

    Scripthook V (SHV)
SHV typically requires an update for each new patch. Alexander Blade, the creator of SHV, has updated his hook, available on the Scripthook V page. Many non-LSPDFR modifications rely on SHV, so updating is essential.

    Emergency Lighting System (ELS)
Well, this is the update that finally broke ELS! However, luckily the file that needed an update was @LMS’s AdvancedHookV.dll library. This new file, which you’ll need to use ELS on the new patch, is available from the ELS download page.
To install it, download the AdvancedHookV_b3258.zip file and extract the included AdvancedHookV.dll into your game folder.

    SirenSetting Limit Adjuster (SSLA)
Users have reported SSLA causing game crashes. If you use RPH, your game might crash during the "Initializing Game Support" stage. To resolve this, remove SirenSetting_Limit_Adjuster.asi from your game folder until an update becomes available.

    Community Scripthook V .NET (SHVDN)
The latest game update also caused problems with SHVDN, including crashing when trying to open the SHVDN console, and scripts refusing to load. The fix for this and other SHVDN issues are included in their nightly builds, which you should install if any of your mods use or require SHVDN.

    OpenIV File Mods (mods folder)
If you’ve installed file mods through OpenIV, you’ll probably need to at least update update.rpf in your mods folder. This usually involves deleting the file and recreating it, and reinstalling any modifications that you put into that file. This is the downside of using the OpenIV mods method, unfortunately.

    LML File Mods (lml folder)
If you’ve installed file mods through LML, you won’t need to reinstall or update your mods in general.
Just make sure you've got the latest LML gameconfig.xml, which you can find here:

    gameconfig.xml
Please note that using an outdated modified gameconfig.xml will crash loading into story mode. An updated gameconfig.xml can be found on GTA5-Mods.

    Other Honourable Mentions
Heap Adjuster, PackfileLimitAdjuster, and Weapon Limits Adjuster do not require updates at this time and should continue to function normally if installed.

This post summarises the most common LSPDFR-related modifications and their updates. If you continue to experience issues, it’s likely specific to your setup rather than a widespread problem. For assistance, visit our Community Support forums and check common problems and solutions, or make a new thread reaching out to our volunteer community for further help.
