But can't I just remove the plugins and keep the modded files? I like RDE, the only things I don't want are SixStars and the other plugins (Just because they doesnt seem to be compatible)

I just deleted everything in relation to sixstarreponse. From what I can remember, the files are in the scripts folder and maybe 1 or 2 in the base gta 5 folder.

If you want to keep the game modified files then just remove the scripts.

 

Open the RDE 3.1 OIV in WinZip and look at the scripts folder. Then remove the scripts listed in there from your GTAV scripts folder.

A couple of days ago during a vehicle pursuit I heard one of the backup units yell in the megaphone and clearly announce themselves as the San Andreas Highway Patrol. Does anyone know what ped or voice says that?

As far as I know out of the four hwaycop voices three are actually the LSPD ones. The fourth one occasionally says some SAHP related lines but most of the time still generic stopping demands and threats. I tried all four and never heard highway patrol specific pull over or pursuit warnings on patrol. If any of the peds do say that sometimes is it possible to somehow make them more likely to say it?

Also does World of Variety or any of the scripts included affect the driving style of the traffic? Anxious impatient drivers hit officers and run them over and drive away which makes other officers shoot the vehicle causing full scale chaos. From my experience currently that will happen sooner or later whenever any of the police are blocking a road for whatever reason. Also when already in the panic mode drivers do not leave cars to flee if the road is blocked but rather ram the obstacle again and again pointlessly.

So since @Hastings left a little story here, I'll do the same now.

 

So I parked a getaway car for my upcoming heist in an alleyway in Davis, close to Rancho. I casually left the alleyway when an LSSD Granger pulled up. To break the line of sight, I just hid behind a pole so the cops couldn't ID me. I had a warrant, after all. And this is where it got funny.

 

Across the street, I could see a man punch another, who instantly fell. The sheriffs didn't notice that. The man that didn't get hit then pulled out a gun and finished the guy lying on the ground.

 

The sheriffs that noticed the gunshots then got out. There was more gunfire in the distance, some of it hit the killer.

Surrounded by gangsters that had killed the killer and more armed people that were coming from behind, the sheriffs didn't stand a chance. One of them got shot and the other was bitten by a dog that was first locked in on a yard but freed by someone who destroyed the fence.

And then there was silence (apart from the dense AI drivers causing major havoc).

A couple of seconds later you could start hearing sirens in the distance. The backup the sheriffs had apparently called has arrived, including NOOSE PIA, more sheriffs and multiple PAP trucks that had come from the bridge leading to the port. After a short shootout - some gang members have been shot and some used the confusion to flee - there was silence again.

 

The scene had started to clear out, an ambulance arrived to run over treat the downed sheriffs, and some more units including detectives pulled up. I could now carefully leave my hiding place. However, I had to find a new place to stash my getaway vehicle, the area got as hot as the guns that have been fired.

I wish they could call SWAT as well. So want to see those Police Riots against someone else!

They can. Try it out. Use a trainer to spawn some invincible or... durable attacking peds, get some police presence and let them fight.

Ah jeez, hope this next update doesn't break RDE. I kept my game version rolled back for months just to function with RDE.

 

On a side note, can we expect the Hunter from the newly annouced Smuggler's Run DLC to replace SkylineGTRFreak's Apache in future RDE iterations?

Is there an update lurking in the shadows? Damn.

Thankfully me no use RPH right now, and usually they fix the Scripthook pretty quick. Hope that update won't kill my two-hour-gaming break I planned for the Saturday!

I could care less for Rockstar's stupid money making multiplayer updates.  They never add jack squat to story mode and all it ever does it cause headaches and confusion for the modding community, including all of us right here.

I am not promoting this in any way or what so ever, but this is for when the update goes live (files you need to revert back to 1103, so you can continue playing RDE and lspdfr unless you created a backup...if not this website is actually legit and has a mega upload of files you need for reverting back:

Hey guys, long time lurker! :D First off RDE is probably my favourite mod for the game! Ive had good fun using it since installing but am experiencing one major issue (well major in my eye) cars whether they are npc or my own dissapear as in despawn after quite a short period of time. One example today I was playing with LSPDFR (another fantastic mod) I had finished at a incident turned around to get back in my patrol car and it had disappeared leaving me stranded in a gang neighbourhood. It seems as if the game or RDE is spawning too many cars and it has to compensate and get rid of some, is this intended? I have litterally been driving along and saw a car despawn in front of my eyes so a bit immersion breaking. 

 

Is this related to memory usage? I have 8 custom ELS emergency vehicle mods and 6 standard car mods (all replacers) if that makes a difference.

I installed the rde mod yesterday but I had already changed the police responce vehicles to cars of my preference, but when I installed rde it changed all my vehicles and I would like to know how I can change the rde responce vehicles
