In my opinion I think modders focus on ELS due to the "pros". A massive quality of life feature that I have always wanted is regarding headlights/takedowns. With GTA 5 if you put on high beams and get out of vehicle even with leaving the vehicle turned on, the high beam light dims and loses the extra range. ELS makes it so this does not occur even with takedowns. ELS can be customized to change the flash patterns to the users liking, same with what siren tones are allowed. Some vehicles before ELS had none or little environmental lighting, It seems that this is very easy to do with ELS as I have yet to see an ELS vehicle with no environmental lighting. Hopefully someone who does vehicle modding could chime in if ELS vehicles are "easier" to make then non ELS. I say this as the lights are linked to extras, barely any ELS vehicles require carvariation Carcol edits. In saying that some popular vehicle modders have only released very few cars sometimes only 1 since ELS has came out (that could be for many other reasons).

You can use the mod called "Custom Backup" to tweak backup much more then the default LSPDFR method allows. It is a great mod but the helicopter sometimes fires a random gunshot every now and then. Also motor cops aim their weapon at suspects while driving which breaks the immersion for me. The mod called "Heli Orbit" changes the way helicopters handle pursuits. The helicopter does a circular orbit instead of hovering 3 feet off the ground. For spike strips there are several mods that do this. There is a roadblock mod that is probably the best one imo but it is currently being revamped/upgraded. The one you should use atm is called "Spike Strips Backup" I am a bit confused what you mean by Do you want more vehicle slots? Like you want more models in game instead of police, police2, police3, etc. Once I understand that I can answer it for you.

I mean this in a nice way. You mustn't have searched very hard as this is vary common "issue". I say issue in quotes as it is an ELS feature that is good in theory. Go to your ELS.ini which is located in the base gta 5 folder (where gta5.exe is). Scroll down to "GENERAL" and make it so it says the following: ElsTrafCtrlOn = false That will allow you to use the airhorn and siren tones without "pushing" the AI away. PC's to me are more then just a gaming device, it is a hobby in itself. I just recently built this computer before that I had a mid range build. I hoard data so that is why I need 7TB. Building the computer is as much fun as playing games.

Downloads seem to reach faster speeds and the average speed is better. Picture thumbnails load much quicker but I do not notice anything different with the actual pictures loading when they are clicked on. Website browsing is much smoother overall. Hopefully my observations are not "exaggerated" by my mind "expecting improvements". My downloads were nearly reaching my max speed. I wonder why the images have not changed though. Thanks for this. That was fast. (unless this was a trial thing)

Yeah I have been a lurker on the forums where other people have had browsing issues so I am in the loop about them. I have kinda gotten use to it by now so it is not a huge issue. It is just a nuisance. There is no point in investigating it then as it will just be beating a dead horse. Telstra will just be as bad as Comcast when it comes to them fixing things. I had connection issues to a certain games servers. To make the story short; game company made me do trace routes to the servers, they saw it was Telstras fault, took me 6 phone calls and a few hours of talking to get them to schedule the fix, the fix will take 6 months just for it to get planned then another 4 months before they actively work on it. So about a year just for that. So yeah, I wouldn't waste time trying to sort it out. I have always heard people say Telstra is Australia's Comcast and I guess it is true.

I have been debating on making this topic for a while now, mainly as I did not want to come across a whinger. My day to day web browsing is fine, it is just this website I have issues with. Just to preface, I am not blaming the site admins or the servers as there are heaps of people that have no issue here. I assume it has something to do with my ISP. This issue has been occurring since I have started using this website which was over a year ago. I am located in Australia and this is the internet speed I get. I know it is slow to most users but that is a common speed here if the fibre network has not been rolled out yet. Every website loads normally, I can stream 1080p no issues. This website is the only thing I struggle with which makes me believe it could be related to my ISP (which is Telstra). The issues I face: General web pages such as the forums take longer then they should to load, when the page loads you can see the contents load in over a duration instead of having a full page loaded. Images on any page including mod pages take a really long time to load. This includes thumbnails and the image when opened. Downloads are slow most of the time. I assume that the download servers work kinda like where the popular files are in some sort of cache that can easily be accessed compared to a least popular file. Downloads will have inconsistent speeds but on average I would say i download most files at 650KB/s. Sometimes it takes 10 minutes to download a 20MB file but sometimes I can download at my normal download speed. Reason for posting now is i guess I have "had enough" of it and would love to see if this can be resolved somehow.
