  3. I heard they deleted all their files associated with LSPDFR 0.4 in favor of developing Fortnite First Response. Seems a bit silly to me.

  5. Been snooping around seeing what's poppin' on RDE, and oh man those new lightbars look fantastic. You guys continue to impress. On a side note, out of curiosity: why did the spotlights end up getting removed from sherrif3 in the 3.1+ iterations? The VCSO Caprice it's based on most certainly has them, and I figured the RDE team wouldn't take a step back from realism unless you had to. Is there some sort of technical limitation stemming from the revamped interiors (which are awesome, btw)? Any other technical problem the team has come up against? I imagine trying to get the side lights on the lssheriff bullbars working is a nightmare.

Might be a dumb question, but I suppose there isn't a way for us end users to modify the carcols.ymt (in my case increasing the LightFalloff values for the BCSO bar) and to keep the add-on plates (e.g. the federal plate) functional, is there? I've been playing around with various attempted solutions and it seems to be a one or the other kinda deal, at least for me.
  7. Ah jeez, hope this next update doesn't break RDE. I kept my game version rolled back for months just to function with RDE. On a side note, can we expect the Hunter from the newly annouced Smuggler's Run DLC to replace SkylineGTRFreak's Apache in future RDE iterations?
  8. Looks pretty damn good already. Can't wait to see the finished product. For those having trouble with LSPDFR: I had the same issue with LSPDFR crashing on start up. I simply disabled SSR (F9+Right Ctrl), reloaded the plugin via the console (default is F3, I believe) and it worked fine.
  9. Dear God did 3.1 live up to the hype. It's fantastic. But my question now is, since you guys didn't include it in your announcements and changelogs, are the new motor units vehicles not included in the current wanted system (i.e. there but to be implemented in future wanted system mechanics, like the K9 units)?

  12. I figured that much, since it would a major update and change to gameplay mechanics. I was thinking it might show up in 4.0, but obviously when you're ready to talk about the future, I'll know more. And it had already sounded like you have big plans for 4.0. Always something new and cool from you guys.

I know you haven't announced it yet, so if you weren't ready to release details I apologize for snooping, but going by the removal of the BCSO K9 image from the thread, are K9 units and their associated wanted system mechanics in the works for future RDE iterations? Or am I reading too much into it?

  15. That means 3.1's coming soon, get hype everyone! On a separate note, care to elaborate on the vanilla lightbar overhaul for 4.0? I know it's very early on, but I'm very interested in any tidbits about it all really.

  18. With the armor overhaul for female peds, any chance of making armored BCSO peds compatible, like the rest of the additional peds, with CopHolster? As in moving armor components from "Task" to "Accessories"?

  20. I've noticed that the tailight wig wags aren't functioning for FIB vehicles, both sheriff Staniers (Sheriffs of Blaine and the federal vehicle add-ons are awesome!), and I believe a few others. And both the headlight and tailight wig wags for SAHP vehicles aren't working either, at least for me. Is there some way I can fix this, perhaps through OpenIV?

  22. Great mod, but I was wondering if there is anyway to get back the red and blue grill lights and rear window lights I've seen in the screenshots and trailers? I understand that it's more true to CA lighting style to omit those on local vehicles, but it bugs the crap out of me without it. I've searched around for answers to no avail, and I'm fairly modding illiterate (this my first mod install) so if there's a common knowledge fix that I'm not picking up on, I'd greatly appreciate for someone to point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance, and keep up the fantastic work!
