Has anyone here figure out how to make alley light/sweeping rotary pattern ? For example, the corner alley lights in the video.

also wanted to know if someone did that :)

I've made a carcols a while back that just seems to work really well on pretty much any car you throw it on. Here's a demo of it on my Kansas cars, no edits were done to the cars.  If a

here is a better version of the tahoe that im working on. The patterns are a lot better than the previous video that I uploaded. This version also has a few options that youll be able to customize.

If I could get someone to make a MX7000 with the sweeps, I would be willing to test it and see if I could get it to work, but no one seems willing to set one up like that....

Well,  for now use the ends of the fire truck light bar or use the center dome of the ambulance light bar -  they both can use white lights and you can use them as placeholders just to figure out the sweeping motion.  When you have it to work,  you'll have evidence to convince someone to make a mx7000 light bar model.

I had a theory that it was a percentage, but whenever I tried adjusting it on the rotating sirens it wouldnt work

The speed value, from what I've discovered, changes how long the light flash is. For example, I was curious to see if it even did anything so I set the speed value to 2000, and that resulted in a very staccato light, almost as fast as a camera flash. Unfortunately it doesn't determine the actual speed of the pattern for the single light you set it on.

So if I had a pattern that is set to 1300 bpm  and another identical pattern that isn't set to Bpm speed but set to a 100% speed value,  will it flash the same as the bpm speed? I still need some understanding on how to make unsynchronized led patterns.

No, sadly it will not. No matter how high the speed value is it does not make the pattern go faster, instead the higher the speed value is the shorter time the light stays on for. I had bpm set to 160 to make more realistic rotating lights, but it also made the LED's flash slower. So when I set the speed value up (to 2000.00000000) it went "*FLASH*... 1... 2... 3... *FLASH*" and as I described before the "flash" was like a camera flash. Hope that answered your question.

I'm no master at modding carcols, though, so I could be wrong.

Ugh. Sounds so complicated. I guess this is going to take a while to fully understand how to achieve unsynchronized patterns.

it is now possible to make extra sirenlights in zmod. you can now duplicate siren1 till siren 20 in zmod.

these work under the same siren carcols setting as the original.

If this is legit, and you could have as many duplicates as possible, you could essentially have a different flash pattern for all 20 sirens, holy shit.

but is it really just as simple as duplicating? Because I've tried previously, and the game will only read one of them

If you don't read my readme files don't inbox me asking for help

This plus the new RPH real time light patterns will make for some interesting ELS. Exciting!!
