Can somebody shed some light as to the differences between the 2013 and previous models of the taurus? I'm a utility guy so I don't follow the different styles of the taurus.

"The 2013 refresh of the Taurus was unveiled at the 2011 New York Auto Show and bears cosmetic changes, new engines, and new technology. The most obvious change is the new front fascia incorporating sharper angles and restyled headlights.

Changes to the rear of the car were minor with the only noticeable change being new taillights and dual exhaust tips (only the SHO has true dual exhaust while the other trim levels use a single exhaust that splits under the car). While the interior remains largely unchanged, the Taurus now incorporates a heated steering wheel, an interactive gauge cluster, and the MyFord Touch system, which includes a new head unit with 8" touch screen. Other features new to the 2013 Taurus include an all new Sony sound system featuring HD Radio and iTunes Tagging, Multicontour seats with Active Motion (massage), push-button start, auto high beams, and a rear view camera." "Ford’s chubby-looking mid-size model receives a minor exterior makeover, a redesigned dashboard and improved materials inside, plus changes to the engine lineup that include the introduction of a new 2.0-liter turbocharged four banger. In more detail, the 2013 Taurus gains a new face that’s distinguished by an inverted trapezoid grille along with a redesigned front bumper and re-sculptured hood. At the back, Ford’s designers raised the rear quarter panels and added larger LED tail lamps." [2]

Makes a world of difference though, I've never liked the pre-face lift Taurus, and particularly the Police Interceptor (concept) looked bloody ugly, but the facelift Ford Interceptor Sedan looks beautiful, and is the perfect replacement for the CVPI. I'm very pleased to see it being made for GTA V

^ +1. F5544 did a great job on the prototype PI sedan, but I can't drive it. I just don't like it compared to the 2013 version.

The 2013 version may take a while. I am also busy converting a good 2015 dodge charger. Because the one released is not of good quality.

COOL. Love the Dodge Charger. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Ooh now that I'll be intrigued to see, the rear door collision model and rear lights have always bugged me a little with the one that's available

Forgive me, but why a 2015 version, barely any US police departments have them, the most widely used Dodge chargers are the 2006-2011 version. Like the CHP and the LAPD, both use them as well as the LASD. I don't mean to belittle your work, I'm just wandering why such a rare car, for at least another 3/4 years, is being modelled.

You should make an extra for a different light bar.  Like the one in the picture if that's possible, that would be awesome!

A lot of departments are going to them, all of my local departments have them in the shop, i would go to Flickr and see a dodge charger group. Many great ones out there!

Nice work F5544, will there be a Dev Version?
