I see the game updating and I can't even stop it... This is absolutely pathetic! They'll do anything in their power to stop LSPDFR!

go to chrome settings advance settings and uncheck the """enable phishing and malware protection"""   

I made Steam not update unless I launched it, and now I seem to be able to launch it via RagePluginHook.exe. Steam asks me if I want to update, and I just choose Launch Now and it works.

Got lucky, I suppose.

when I started RAGEPluginHook, the game in steam started to update. (update enabled when running). I didn't even notice, and then it was too late :(

so is it safe to say I am good if I backed my 1.28 lil gotten gains 2 update up?

malware bytes always deletes it for me..i just disable security until i finish the download

It seems to be related to online only (which is really sickening since we are using story mode). They currently have weekly events with bonus XP, money and stuffs.

hasek, the latest R* patch just broke LSPDFR and RagePluginHook. You'll have to wait for both of those to update in a few days. 

For steam users - I went to offline mode (I already made steam stop auto-updating GTA V after the last patch fiasco) before I tried playing. It seemed to help - I didn't get it auto-updating. I was also paranoid and I shut off my internet at the same time.

It's because R* just updated the game, breaking scripthook. It will need to be updated.

 

Also, I get this error when trying to launch GTAV even without any mods. Only work around was to uninstall my ASI loaders through OpenIV.

Damn Rockstar and their minions of orthodoxy.  I bet Rockstar has a pile of worthless updates just sitting in a queue waiting for every single update of LSPDFR to come out then they release one lol.

Both. LSPDFR needs Rage to work but Rage is broken, therefore, LSPDFR is broken as well.

Ah, okay. I just tested out the new update, it really did make the performance better by a lot though, that is one thing to look forward to, lol.

Didnt have much of a choice there almost broke the game in their last update trying to break modding, that's is good news though.

sonofabitch.  F you rockstar.  I too just updated LSPDFR and as it was loading, I saw the update coming down.  And we f@ucked again.  Great.  

Funny how everyone was having problems with LSPDFR being considered a virus and I get this when trying to install the new GTA V update:

As usual, if you want to keep playing LSPDFR after the update make sure to have a back up of the old GTA V version.
