FtDLulz reacted to iStrong in Need a lot of help! (answer that you can please)For vehicle search the default key is Left Shift+G to search a vehicle.

FtDLulz reacted to iStrong in Need a lot of help! (answer that you can please)Disregard that. LShift was something i put in for myself. The default key is just G to search a vehicle. Their Ped Search plugin uses the same key actually.

FtDLulz reacted to iStrong in Need a lot of help! (answer that you can please)With every plugin and callout, you get .ini files. Open these files with a text editor and edit the lines as necessary. There you can edit the keys and everything else associated with the plugin.

FtDLulz reacted to iStrong in Need a lot of help! (answer that you can please)I recommend ones that are recent, or have been recently updated. Don't use packs that are out of date and old, because they can cause issues with the game, or even crash it completely. Just look for ones that are recent and have decent ratings.

FtDLulz reacted to iStrong in Need a lot of help! (answer that you can please)Either you can edit the startup.rphs file manually, and add them there by yourself by typing LoadPlugin "pluginnamehere.dll", or when launching ragepluginhook, press on the gear(settings) icon and it will bring up the settings for RPH. There you can edit the plugins it loads.

FtDLulz reacted to iStrong in Need a lot of help! (answer that you can please)Do you mean people or cars when you do traffic stop? If cars, then hold your horn, it will make them find a new pullover location, but that rarely helps. Traffic policer has built in mimic and follow commands. Press Left Control + Q to mimic the car infront of you, they will do the exact same movements you do in your car, and position them over. Or you can press Left Control + T to make them follow you, so you must be infont of them. There's also the new custom pullover which is with Left Control + W, you get a red circle that you position somewhere and the suspect will drive there. However, the suspect won't turn their car, they just go straight there and run over things. I adivse you to use mimic, that's the best. As for people, just push them out of the road by walking into them.

FtDLulz reacted to iStrong in Need a lot of help! (answer that you can please)Yep, he used the mimic function of traffic policer. As i said, press Left Control +Q and that makes the vehicle mimic you. Mimic means do what you do. You drive to the right, he drives to the right. It takes some getting used to, but it works great.

FtDLulz got a reaction from ScottyTooHotty in Suggestions For Future Callouts/Scripts/Plugins/ModsI always love these threads since I find cool ideas and then they end up sitting in my projects folder abandoned since when I have time I usually work on my main plugins.
Other devs will certainly make use of these though, I'm sure!

I think the content creators have done a superb job so far in terms of whats been made, and keeping those things updated. Props to you guys!
However, i think the number one thing missing (for me atleast) are ordinary, day to day calls that are apart of routine police work. I know Finkone is working on something (it was in one of his videos) and mentioned these types of calls were needed. Below are an assortment of different types of calls.
An example of non emergency calls:
And of course, some emergency calls:
And then you have the stuff in between:
I work for a police dept and these are just the usual calls/codes from day to day. There are a lot more out there obviously. And i know that tons of work go into these mods and scirpts. This is just a list someone can use if needed. If anyone has a question or idea of how a call might go/workout just ask. Thanks again to those who do create this stuff.

Absolutely amazing job guys. LSPDFR is better than ever.

FtDLulz reacted to TheDude in Disabling Pursuit AI Problemsah ok. i was about to say that would be a very silly thing for them to say considering a gta update could come out and break literally everything lol. hell even lcpdfr for gta iv still has its share of little bugs and quirks. just part of modded content; sometimes things break :P

FtDLulz reacted to Sam in LSPDFR 0.3 - November UpdateYou make it sound like we've had people waiting for years on end. This couldn't be further from the truth. GTA V was released in April 2015, with the first version of LSPDFR being released less than two months later. Not only that, but we followed up with a second major update less than a month after 0.1, despite the challenges we faced from the aggressive updating of the game, including the one update which attempted to stop modding altogether. We first announced 0.3 towards the end of September and that's not even three months ago. Maybe we made a mistake in announcing it this early, maybe we should've held off and announced it towards the end of this month instead? That probably would've been the smart thing to do, it'd be the sort of thing that a proper publisher like EA or Activision would do. The key thing though is that we are not a proper games publisher. We're not a company, and I like to make an effort to actually listen to what the people who enjoy our work say. The one clear message that we heard over and over again was that regular updates would nice. People wanted to know what was happening as it happened, not two months after. By announcing 0.3, and by posting regular updates on it, we have given what we were asked to give.
Can I now ask that in return, people can refrain from posting such poorly thought out comments on how we've failed them? I'd much rather spend the very, very limited amount of free time that I have on developing this project that I love just as much as anybody else here.
Let me just reiterate, we're not a games company. We're a group of people who purely by chance came together to develop what you now know as LCPDFR and LSPDFR. If there's anything in the world I could wish for, it'd be that we were indeed a games company and that we did have the ability to dedicate massive resources and time into making the best game this genre has ever seen. There's absolutely nothing that I'd love more than to be able to develop LSPDFR every day and get paid a full-time salary for it, nothing.
When we failed to meet that release date, despite the fact that the modification is free, despite the fact that none of us had any obligations to anybody, and despite the fact that we had given our best effort, I very publicly apologised. Not only was this disappointing to everyone here, it was also something that really affected me - there's nothing worse than letting down thousands of people like that. I want to make sure that we don't let anyone down like this again, and therefore we've not given a release date since. There's also a whole number of practical reasons for this - for example the fact that mod-breaking updates can happen to the game at any point.
Yup.

FtDLulz reacted to Cyan in LSPDFR 0.3 - November UpdateThank you for your feedback regarding our policy on release dates! However, it has now run it's course, and it's time to get back on topic.
Any further comments asking for a release date, or discussing our policy of not providing dates, will be removed from this topic as it has derailed discussion. You are more than welcome to provide your continued feedback to the suggestions forum, where it can be properly addressed! Thank you.

FtDLulz reacted to ineseri in LSPDFR 0.3 - November UpdateWe're not a large company, we have 2 developers working on this free modification. If we decide to not give a release date for our free modification, we won't. That does not make us uptight, which is a rather rude thing to say.
It is quite immature to throw a fit over a free modification on the internet. Just be patient, and the modification will be released when it's done and ready. Thank you.
