Proist got a reaction from anthonyjolson87 in Traffic Stop BackupYeah, but most of the times the units that you call in just get out of their vehicle, scout the area and then leave again, right? Someone needs to make it so that they actually hang out for the immersion. :P

Proist got a reaction from anthonyjolson87 in Traffic Stop BackupSomeone should make a mod where you can radio in for backup in a traffic stop, like get additional units and stuff.
When you call them in they get in a position behind your car in the traffic stop, and just waits patiently.

Proist reacted to MarkyGBR in GTA MP or FiveM?FiveM is all a bit of a mystery really.
It might be released, and work-- but what's actually going on appears to be a big mystery, I can't find anywhere that actually says what's happening, what's coming and what's getting released so in that aspect it doesn't really appeal to the casual gamer. That being said, it is working and functional unlike GTA-MP, so it has that bonus.
Where-as GTA-MP appears to be a lot more casual gamer/user friendly, in that they provide consistent updates. Unfortunately not much evidence that its functional, but If they can pull it off, and go ahead with a release to the public before FiveM decides what it's doing, I reckon it'll be the bigger hit, just because it's more accessible.
Then again it might turn out like SA-MP and MTA did. MTA nowadays is clearly more accessible, and written in a superior coding language, with more possibilities. But SA-MP has always been the most popular. Which could happen between these two, but only time will tell I guess.
Personally I'm more hyped for GTA-MP but that's just because I'm stupid enough to trust what they are doing in these 'dev blogs'.

Proist reacted to CouthInk4 in Divisions suggestionThere is already divisions in LSPDFR i guess, Patrol,Highway,SWAT, Detectives (if you add the mod) and a Pilot ped is available in the ped selection of LSPDFR. You could also use the detective for a Gangs division and "patrol" the gang area. there is also a callout plugin which introduces a gang related callout.
Official Divisions would be good, Choose character - choose car - choose division and you get callouts based on that division. that'll be a good feature to be honest =)

Proist reacted to ThePersian in LSPD First Response 0.2 Beta@Sam, I noticed that with pursuit of armed suspects, every civ AI freaks out regardless of if they're near the gunshots or not. I'll be driving to a call halfway across the city but every driver on my way there will be freaking out. Can this be fixed or is it an issue on GTA's side?

Proist reacted to LukeD in [WIP/REL] CalloutsV - The Successor to Callouts+I've uploaded a patch fix which adds a temporary never wanted mechanic to help those out with the bug.
There's a lot of stuff I can't inherently fix yet. But will as soon as I can.
@Hugo_Agante location data for the callout names will be coming in a future version once I've figured out the best way to acquire this.
@Proist yes you absolutely can use this with other API mods when they become available, that's the point of the API :)

Proist reacted to Tom S. in LSPD First Response 0.2 BetaI'm really having an enjoyable experience so far with 0.2, I just had a 10-15 minute sheriff pursuit throughout Los Santos County with other units including air support and the AI has been improved a lot from what I've seen. The communication between the officers and dispatch on the radio really does add that extra immersion in which is in my opinion, the icing on the cake. I really can't wait to see more call-outs created by other people and hopefully world events if possible; in future versions.
