Really exited for this.

My main question is: Will this be compatible with 1.0.372.2? There are alot of performance issues with the latest update.

  • Just as a quick update, we're doing our best to continue to fix things up.  The main cause of the performance issues was resolved earlier today, although there's still one problem which is resulting i

Yes it will be. I think that's why they are having so much trouble. Basically, rockstar, in nn attempt to stop online modders, created a bunch of dummy code so that it is hard for scripthooks to access the native functions. The reason (I assume) for the vanilla performance issues is probably the same thing. But I'm not an expert.

The best LSPD officer in San Andreas.

They would more than make up for it selling this mod as an expansion pack, not to mention the hundreds or thousands of new mods that would start being made if online restrictions became a thing of the past. I doubt it ever happens. Because things that actually make more sense than your current business model, you Take Two, are seldom changed, even when they should be.

Well thats whats this is all about. To fix the issue with the latest update and the performance with LSPDFR.

so do we think this is going to happen tonight the release? i found out they had lspdfr this morning and bought the game 2 minutes after haha only reason i have this game. Keep up the good work

Just a quick question,  since the vanilla game is having performance issues isn't likely Rockstar will come out with a hotfix soon?

I know when going around in a police cruiser in the city I start to have major frame rate drops and just start lagging around.  This is without LSPDFR being installed.  Hopefully some kind of fix will be implemented because I cannot stand to be in the city with that much of an issue by myself, let alone with multiple vehicles.

I don't want to sound too pessimistic, but these kind of things are always a race between developers and modders.

Just lik with encryption, it's always a race between the encryptor and the hacker.

I'm afraid that Rockstar will succeed in removing modding capabilities all together. Think about it, why go through all this if you won't ever achieve your goal because modders dodge new measures? That would be an absolute waste of time. It's their engine, so they can implement measures all they want and at some point perhaps the modders can't win it anymore.

I wouldn't be surprised if at some point mods don't work at all anymore.

And you can give me the "R* likes SP mods" argument, but in the end they are protecting GTA Online and any damage done to SP is 'collateral' as mods are by definition unauthorized.

I think if Rockstar wants to stop us, they do it. Hopefully it won't get worse.

I hope so too. This protection stuff gets really annoying.

Now hopefully im not outta line here so mods can delete this post if they think its not appropriate but the email Sam.Houser@rockstargames.com - Rockstar Games President Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_Houser seems to be active, I sent a brief email explaining my frustration with how they are handling the situation and possible steps forward they should be taking by at least serperating the GtaV.exe into two separate .exes for offline/online

If you do sent and email to him and this post is allowed PLEASE be respectful and get your point across correctly. I figure nobody at rockstar is probably going to listen to us anyway but at least I think this has more of a shot than complaining via traditional rockstar support.

Just launched GTA V for the first time since the latest update, this is really a joke. At the beginning I get 10 fps so I need to go into graphics settings change Vsync to 50fps and then to 60fps to resolve this. And when I start shooting fps drop drastically to an unplayable level. The only mod I have is the trainer. instead of restricting mods R* should include a feature so when you launch online it checks your game files and if there are extra files/mods the game simply does not let you enter online unless you delete them.

Thanks for all your work guys. This mod is the only reason I bought this game again. I got it for playstation but after seeing this mod a had to rebuy it for pc. That says something because I'm  cheap as hell, and your mod made me buy the same game twice.
