  2. I love you, Was looking for a tutorial like this in about 6 hours, and when i finally gave up with my soon to be released car, i found this. Now i can finnish the car all thanks to you.

    This car replace the unmarked Stainer. ReadMe is in the download. Credits: Model: ByEnec Carvariation_meta: Netman The idea come from Lundys detective stainer. This version of the car is the one that follow DonFelipé´s police S60. I just used it as a basemodel. This version only has one LOD (L0) so it will vanish when you go far away from the car, i might fix (L1) in a later version. Please report any bugs. Feel free to remodel and upload. But please give Proper credits, and if there is someone who feel that he/she are not credited for this vehicle please let me know. Have fun and remeber to allways backup your original files.

  5. Svenskan är fortfarande med på ena sidan på bilarna ser jag. I see that the swedish (Polis) is still in use in one side of the vehicle. Tillverkade i min hemkommun Trollhättan. Made in my hometown Trollhättan Sweden. =) Some of the newer cars here in Sweden except the SAAB 9-5 og and Volvo. Most of them uses STANDBY lightbars, also only one police force. Every police car has a stop light that tells the car infront to stop, by flashing a blue light with a solid red light beside it.

Only with zmodeler3, or spawn the car in game. if you see lower quality of the car when distance increases, than it should have proper LOD´s, If tha car vanish when distance increases, then it only use HQ LOD (L0). I have seen some modders uses the original gta 5 car to use in L1,L2,L3,L4 and that is jus aweful.

  8. Thats the path i´m using, I did make a template and remapped the vehicle so that it could use my own livery, but still gets those vanilla liverys in game.
  9. So how can i make my modded/remapped police3.yft to use my own livery and not the original ones? Can i set it to prior 1 or something?, i did delete all other police liverys, but the car uses them in game anyway.

  13. I have the same problem with a modded police car. i have modeled it in zm3 and remapped it. but the livery i made is hiding under a black paint, and i cant get it to work. I think its something with carvariaton.meta files but i cant find it?

Ok so i made a new police car in Zmodeler3, and replaced it with police3.ytf after that, i remapped the modded vehicle and made a template for it, I can see the new textures in game and in OpenIV, but it seem that it uses some of the old liveries that used to be on the Vapid Stainer and for some reason my new texture is shown under those liveries, It kind of shines through like a second layer. Do i have to unable those old liveries in Carvariation.meta? If yes, then how?
  15. Did you open the vehicle in game? =) Because sometimes the interior textures somehow does not show up in OpenIV but does in game.

  18. It looks like the game uses texture from another police vehicle. But from what i know the game first of all gets files from the update folder and then it uses x64e. But you did place them in the correct folder, so that is confusing. What i recommend you to do is to se if there is any other liveries in the police2.ytd folder. if you see any other liveries than the swedish one, then try to delete them, so that only the swedish livery is in the folder. If this do not work, then backup the original police2.ytd police2_hi.ytd and also the both police2/police2_hi.ytf and just place them in a folder on the desktop, and then replace the bmw in the exact same way you did at first, but now you place them outside the mods folder, and in the original update folder. Really hope this will help you.

  21. Thanks. About the door i dont think i´ve seen this problem? I know that there isn´t any colision on the doors, so i think that when you damage the doors, they stay open. Try to use a trainer to fix the car and see if that makes the door close? It can be that when i exported the edited vehicle from ZM3 i forgot to arrange some things to make the collision work on both the doors and the windows, I´m all new to ZM3 and modeling so i have to take a look into that.     Swedish K9 unit BMW 5 series retextured and edited by me. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- New model made by Double Doppler, wich also gave me permission to edit the model and upload it. The main edit on the vehicle is that i just removed the ANPR radar and some extra antennas on the roof, the rest is all modelled by Double Doppler, and without him and the rest of all credited people this would not have been possible.
