  1. Dear LSPDFR Community, A few years ago we were involved in a feud that seemed to tarnish our (Wingman Games - Police 1013) reputation here with your members. A lot has happened since then and I wanted to write to you all as a group and ask that we have a new beginning. I think the first thing I want to do again after all this time is apologise on my behalf for anything that was said in anger back in those days that people found offensive. I actually can't remember much about it but it was silly of me to not take criticism so well. I am here to build new bridges with you all and to see if we can't mend old scars. The truth is we are looking for forgiveness and want your support. We have done a lot over the years with Police 1013 and it really is shaping up to be an amazing project. Things have gone slowly but we are now working toward an alpha release and have done so since April this year. Previous years we have spent looking after our investors best interest with a tech demo for them as a proof of concept. That has come and gone now so we are now pushing toward an alpha release. We understand that for this game to be a success, that we need people like you who love Police games to have more input and more relationships with us. As you know its difficult building a game that is so big in scale and we don't pretend that it's going to be easy. In fact its going to be much harder than you'd expect. However, we know that with support from this community we can and will make it the best it can be. The support we're looking for takes on a few tiers. The first being the acceptance of our apology. I didn't take criticism too well back in the day and I'm really doing my best to rethink that approach as we lead up to alpha release in the future. The second tier is to acknowledge that there are a lot of good devs here in this community that could become part of our team. Coders, model makers etc are an important part of any game development, so i'd like to ask those of you who would like to put some time into the game to come join us. We have put in a lot of money of our own to build the business and company structure to a place that can accept large investments from outside the gaming community and have gained much respect from leading investors here in Australia. But to get to the next level we need to match that investment within the gaming community via our Project Blue line and soon to be kickstarter campaign to finish the alpha. I am hoping that for some of you, my apology opens the door to some of you who want to help get this game made. The alpha is currently being made on a 65km Square map size and will reach 100km square on completion after alpha. I don't want to lose the greatest resource we have available to us within your membership and would really like to start building new relationships with you. I should also say that we're not competing with LSPDFR but we're hoping that we can fill a void that has been open for a long time to come up with a Police simulator that is highly realistic, multiplayer, amazing graphics and less bugs so that both roleplaying communities and those just wanting to play on their own can enjoy. Again, I've made mistakes over the years with a lack of communication and am asking for your forgiveness for that as that was not my intention. We'd like to embrace this community with open arms so that together we can make something special together. We have a discord channel for those that would like to come say hi to me personally and also enjoy the great community we've built at www.discord.gg/wingmangames I would love to see you guys there and be able to start fresh between communities. I'm doing this because we all want the same thing. I am hoping that by me making the first move in bringing our communities together that some of you might enjoy the challenge of helping us build 1013 the way you want it made. It would be silly of me to pretend that some of you will want to shake the tree in the comments below and I appreciate the fact that this is part and parcel of my willingness to open up to you. All I ask is that you consider the fact that I am just like you. I'm trying to make something for all of us to enjoy and want nothing more than to experience this with you. You can also view some progress at facebook.com/police1013 if you'd like to check us out. Again, to all of you in the LSPDFR community I apologise for any ill-will against me and take full responsibility for that. I do hope that this helps mend some broken fences. With Kind Regards Matt Norman Wingman Games Pty Ltd Police 1013.
  2. Thanks SkillfulCorpse we are doing everything possible to build a game that we think people will love. No it won't be anything like Enforcer. That was rushed.!!! We now have a roadmap on our site that clearly explains the path we're taking.
  3. Hi all, Well it seems my game isn't being supported here still. I appreciate the feedback though. I won't lie, it's been a really tough road made worse by so much criticism. All in all, I am doing my best to make Police 1013 a reality. This certainly isn't an easy task. I admit back in the day I did go a little spastic due to being trolled. These days I take it in my stride as you can see. I'm a huge fan of LSPDFR and love what's coming out of the community. Love me or hate me, it doesn't really matter but just understand that some comments made in these posts aren't very nice. I am human just like you. Anyway, continued success to all of you and here's hoping for a better day.
  4. Awesome Job Sam and the rest of the team. Awesome!!
  5. Unfortunately it crashes my GTA5 when I attempt to pull over a vehicle.
  6. Just to help spell it out for those that aren't reading the full thread... 1. GTA just updated - This means Ragehook etc is now not working 2. Your game will crash until Ragehook is updated. 3. Get rid of Script hook stuff to play GTA only... (no thanks, i only play this game for LSPDFR) 4. Wait patiently for the awesome guys who are doing the Ragehook plugin to update. 5. Have empathy for those who are working tirelessly behind the scenes!!!!! They know there is a problem and will no doubt have a fix to it. Just have to wait... 6. Be happy that Sam and all the guys behind these mods and hooks are awesome and will figure out a way forward.! Be calm.
  7. What I did to fix everything was reinstall GTA5 (on steam). For some reason mine didn't upgrade to the latest version but when I installed it again it did. Try it as it worked for me.
  8. Hi Sam and Crew, You guys have outdone yourselves with this update. Awesome job. Well done in fixing the update issue as well. Stand proud young jedi!
  9. Yes, you certainly have to give it to these guys.!! Pro's everywhere.. doing an awesome job.
