[WIP/REL] CalloutsV - The Successor to Callouts+

Featured Replies

We're already in contact about our ideas so that we don't overlap. I've removed a couple callouts from my plugin already, so that they don't overlap with his plugin with the same callouts.

Oh thanks guys! Yeah, it's pretty pointless to have same callouts.

By the way, are you going to update your Speed Radar plugin? With 0.2 database, LSPDFR will have it's own "flags" so maybe you'd like to put your Speed Radar "flags" to match 0.2's "flags" because otherwise it isn't going to be coherent!

Anyway, once again just a suggestion I'd make to all plugin makers that made db and flags (e.g. FinKone's plate checker that has a database: no need for that anymore because 0.2 will have that)

Is it or would it be possible to implement Callouts that either specifically involve dogs or involve dogs plus pedestrian(s)? Does the dog logic in GTA V have any sort of moddable capability whatsoever or is it even capable of being tasked with something?

For example it would be kind of cool to be able to respond to a dog viciously attacking its owner or a variant of a dog on the loose attacking random pedestrians.

Similarly it would be neat if there was a callout pertaining to a pedestrian using the dog as a weapon, getting the dog to attack a store owner in an attempt to rob the place. Alternatively having the dog owner just simply not give a damn that its dog is attacking other people, giving you different choices based on the owner's compliance.

Perhaps it's not possible to even implement calls involving dogs or implement the dogs at all, but I've been attacked by dogs in GTA V LSPDFR - particular in the gang areas.

This could lead to some interesting roleplay scenarios, especially in the future if there is the ability to treat civilians temporarily until paramedics arrive. Or, if you arrive too late you find the owner bleeding to death, unconscious and holding on by a thread.

I have no idea what the LSPDFR API will have to offer. LMS said it has basically the same functionality as the LCPDFR API, but I never worked with that, so I have no idea. If it allows me to get vehicle flags from the computer, then yes.

Yeah, since it's a new API to everyone, it might be a bit tricky to find out what's possible of doing or not, but I hope it allows you to get vehicle flags from the LSPDFR computer.

Thanks Stray!

It would be nice if your Callouts mod worked with Open All Interiors mod so that there are more locations to find suspects or raid a certain location. Having gang related callouts or Drug lab Raids in a certain interior would be really cool.

Negotiation/Negotiator type Callouts:

eg: You have to respond to a Hostage situation ( like what Exiled suggested ), whereby you have : multiple choice : options as to 'how' you are going to handle the situation, or rather diffuse the situation in a peaceful manner. I'd assume some sort of GUI with multiple choice lines, alongside a slider bar/ as to the perps aggression level. Similar to what was seen in, I believe it to be your Callouts+ mod for : suicidle suspects. ( I hope that made sense )

Would make for some fun callouts.

I would'nt know how hard/long that would take to code. Or if even possible

Something like call to a fight at one of the clubs like at Travor's strip club is entirely unused in LSPDFR, I once just went inside to arrest someone just because. However it would be nice to do a SWAT raid on Travor's stripclub...

This mod sounds amazing! The motor vehicle accidents, EMS escorts and highway debris is a nice calm step back from armed pursuits and shootouts. Will this begin development now that LSPDFR .2 has released an API?

nvm im an idiot. slamming all the key resolved the issue

I recently installed this, however I do not receive any of the new calls that are mentioned. I still only get those pursuit backup requests, what's wrong? I have read through the F4 console and it says the LSPD Callouts plugin is initialized but it doesn't look like it work. I have placed the files where they're supposed to be. Is there any kind of button or something that I have to manually change?

Each of the new callouts is set to a "Medium" spawn chance so should happen fairly regularly.
If they NEVER happen after 30 minutes or so of gameplay then the plugin may not be working correctly.

You say it initialized properly, does it register the callouts?

I have literally been playing for thirty minutes now, and it does say it's initialized however that is it. Nothing else than that. LSPDFR runs correctly without any issues as I have experienced and when I go through the console log there's nothing about the Callout script except at the start where it tells me it's successfully initialized.

This is what I get: http://gyazo.com/c0b06e171304d03b9637899615e1f77e

Nothing else, then I receive multiple pursuits and that's it.

You've definitely installed it incorrectly as LSPDFR is loading NAudio.dll (which it shouldn't do) and is not loading CalloutsV.dll
Double check you put everything in the correct place.

CalloutsV.dll, CalloutsV.ini and CalloutsV folder inside Plugins/ LSPDFR/
NAudio.dll in Grand Theft Auto V/ (root directory where the exe and RPH files are)

Forgot to remove the audio.dll file. Also thought the ini was supposed to be in /plugins/lspdfr/plugins... my bad:) misunderstood the manual. Will try now.
