Was just right now thinking of this... i respond to call outs and assist by shooting the fleeing vehicle with missiles...! Would be great to actually assist by targeting the car and somehow running plate or such... probably too much to implement i would say... but police helicopter would be neat

They could add loads when it comes to air units trust me, you can look through some sort of police helicopter camera in the passenger seat (the AI would follow the suspect if it was implemented, just like the current system) there's even an option that let's you repel on to buildings in GTA:O if you're a passenger in the maverick and have someone else flying.  

so hyped for all the new stuff which can become a possibility.

I would say so.  I could only see the update unintentionally ruining something so they might be better off waiting and making sure it doesn't.conflict with the changes made I the update.

Yeah, my guess for release date would be the next weekend since the Ill Gotten Gains Part 2 has been released by then (8th July) and G17 will have time to test with that new update until the weekend comes.

Speaking about the new update, I'm glad the stun gun made its appearance! I found it weird why it wasn't in 0.1e but I immediately thought it would be in future versions. I hope it works not only with criminals but with everyone but as Sam said, that probably will only work in future versions.

I also hope the despawning has been improved massively because sometimes it looks like crime scenes never happened as things despawn so quickly. Anyway, that's a minor issue I guess. I hope there will be more callouts variety and that those amazing plugins we all know of will be converted to 0.2 as soon as possible!

Overall, the 0.2 update is looking very promising indeed! Thanks guys! :D

I do have one request in regards to the A.I.'s use of the taser, however.  Is it possible to be able to turn that off?  I'd rather that they not use their tasers and instead make use of their nightsticks, especially when future mods come out to add vintage vehicles and weaponry. A taser would break that immersion in a bygone time period.

Yeah, that's why I hope 0.2 is released AFTER the update. Anyway, even if it is before, I probably will only download it when it's the "final" 0.2 version, like I did with 0.1. I only downloaded the 0.1d and then the 0.1e because it had the latest RAGE Plugin Hook.

Why instead of the jet? No need for that. They'll just add it.

Also, LCPDFR routinely had easter eggs like this. In .91 noose helicopter backup could be called in, and they would fire RPGs from the back of a blackhawk, and 1.0 had a famous riot mode activated by typing in "ppm" in the police computer, making fun of the police pursuit mod and how every callout included fighting an army of enemies
