The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

What are your thoughts on the very first version of LSPDFR? What would you like to see in the future?

My suggestions so far after playing for a while: A marker for your patrol car on the map would be great Maybe add a prompt/option somewhere for clarity on how things work, I was a bit confused when

It's running great so far, though for some reason my game lags a bit whenever I shoot now (may just be the game itself). Most of the improvements are probably already planned by the wonderful dev team

  • Suspects are too fast / too far and I constantly find myself driving cross country in a cruiser. Awesome work by the devs, though.

I probably found a bug. I have no clue if its a ragehook or a LSPDFR related problem. If i start fraps while GTA V is running it crashes in an instant. If i start GTA V + RageHook and LSPDFR while Fraps is running it wont start. No fraps = no problems. Im going to submit this also to the ragehook site.

Other then that the mod runs stable as hell. Without Fraps i encountered no frame drops and no crashes. I´ve played over 4h without one single crash. When i think about those "LCPDFR every 5-20min" crashs im happy as hell. Thank you guys, thanks thanks thanks. :)

Great mod and I can't wait to see what's added. Definitely needs some work since my PC is able to run GTA 5 just fine but when i run the plug in the FPS drops pretty low. Hopefully that will be fixed by the time the actual mod comes out. Something I haven't seen be mentioned in any thread on this website is bringing in GTA online characters to put on any uniform in the mod. it might be a bit much to ask but for someone who's pretty into role playing in the mod it'd be great to see.

i got fraps to work by launching it after i stated the game

It has a lot more potential than LCPDFR! The smooth graphic and detailed huge world is the biggest + in LSPDFR. I think we'll have more different callouts, more traffic stop options..... in the future. And this makes me excited and happy. I didn't had a single crash yet.

Nothing bad can be said I reckon but features like:

  1. Slowing down traffic pursuits
  2. A taser in your inventory
  3. Partners
  4. If possible the ability to start with a key binding like Alt+P in LCPDFR
  5. More jail cells
  6. Instead of random acsessories let you choose what hat or glasses to wair
  7. Air patrols
  8. ANPR and reg and license checks

But so far great work and keep it up!

Personally I see no problem using text where there is no audio available, it was done in LCPDFR! If at a traffic stop you asked for a licence but he didn't have it, there was no audio for that, something like "Sorry officer, I forgot it at home!" Would appear over his head, and when on the street and asking for ID, similar might happen. Or on a drunk call, pedestrians might insult the drunk by use of those words over their head. And there's no reason not to use text for the radio ID call-ins, it was done in LCPDFR too, the radio when calling backup would be audio and text while ID only used text

I played and streamed alot of GTA IV, and let me say, Great job once again by this team, i've been waiting for this mod and had a blast so far, bugs are expected since it's alpha but i have noticed one things that was unexpected, when i was transporting a prisoner i had just arrested to jail, a random bystander on a motorcycle open fired as they drove by and then chased me. Totally unexpected but was very cool. As for what i would like to see for future updates, if possible, everything GTA IV had. Keep up the great work.

The problem with traffic stops is there is very little else we can do at this point.  Yes, you might be used to asking for ID, giving reasons for the stop etc. from LCPDFR, but we simply don't have that sort of dialogue in GTA V.  The best we can do is add these options without the animations or dialogue that people have come to expect from LCPDFR/LSPDFR and just pretend that it is real, when it quite obviously isn't.

We decided to focus our efforts on stuff that we could actually make feel a little more exciting and engaging.  I'm sure most people will agree with me that they look to LSPDFR for some sort of fun (hot pursuits, shootouts, etc.) - not some blatantly generated text on a screen about whether someone has a license or not.

Is it possible to use quotes from GTA IV?

I doubt I've seen this anywhere so far...

  • Loadout Selector. (With some limitations)
  • 24/7 Ammu-nation for Law Enforcement (To restock on ammo & armor, again... with some limitations)

That's it...

Got a call with armed robbers fleeing, chased them up to the point they crashes their van, jumped out of my cruiser and... Pressed E to get the driver out, as  I used to with the LSPDFR, aaand.... My character gets in the back of the van! Perps be like WTF COPPER?! So they drove with me in the back, shooting at backup units until the driver caught one in the head. Nice one for the first call :D

It's ragehook, I was playing around with it before the release of LSPDFR. You can't start at all if fraps is running and you try to run ragehook. When I started the game first and then started fraps, I was able to get it to work. Some bad lag spikes though.

Ugh, FRAPS. I'd recommend Dxtory, personally. It seems to work fine, too. (Though that might just be the latest version of the Ragehook fixing that.)

First of all, congratulations on the first release of this awesome mod. I had a lot of fun with it already and i know it will get even better and better, just like lcpdfr did.

Things I'm looking forward to the most, like many other people, are id checking, frisking and the ability to ticket walking peds.

Oh and please don't slow down the pursuits like some people are asking, I think the speed is just about right.
