Yes, I was right before. This community has turned toxic. Now it's resorted to personal attacks, off topic arguing and useless banter. 

 

 

Just close this topic and all related to lspdfr. Close topics others create. Do it until it releases.

This will be my last post in this argument, since this argument doesn't benefit anyone or anything. I have my opinion and others have their opinions, and we all have the right to our opinions. I respect all of your opinions, I just disagree with them

There isn't a thing right about your post. The community is not toxic, I'm yet to see any serious personal attacks, all arguments have been on topic, and LSPDFR related topics shouldn't be closed because of a silly little dispute. Okay, so maybe you got the useless banter part right, but that's it. For (Hopefully) the last time, the argument is over. It was short lived, and is being blown way out of proportion. If we could stop talking about that dumb argument, perhaps we can talk about something more important like mod recovery and whatnot

You know it's funny how you say I don't want to start an argument, end of discussion, yet none of those comments were specifically directed towards you, it was just in general, also you keep replying to this topic even after say this argument is done and over with.  

It's terrible to see all these people getting upset because Rockstar wants to release some more free content to try and keep the online community happy and willing to keep playing, yet people still get mad because they can't have their scripts and trainers due to this update. I don't see what the problem is. If you just can't wait for Blade to update his scripthook, you should've made a backup copy of the previous update files. It must be so painful for the other people who are stuck with all this new free content Rockstar is throwing at you. Man, I really want to blow entire servers up by spawning UFOs right now, but due to Rockstar, I can't do a thing. I better go whine about it to pass time and call them these bad bad names because I can't have it my way.

Personally, I don't really care for the new updates, but I'm not going to throw a tantrum because I can't have everything the way I want it to be. ntm, I've got a new neat mod for EM4 that I am having loads of fun with. I'm sure that'll keep me away from GTA V until something new happens. Speaking of EM4, LA Wait, that's not right) Unspecified Southern Californian city riots, here I come!

Scripthook is back up xP

As expected. Not even a day after it was broken. ;)

​You'd need to copy the folder called "update" and the two GTAV exes. Should be the same process for all updates. Luckily, I always keep backups of older updates, so I'm set. I'll probably wait it out, though. I've got some new EM4 content that I'm in love with right now. 

​Unfortunately, I don't have backups and even if I did, my savegame would break because I tried that new PDW in singleplayer and saved the game because I forgot it would probably break stuff :(

 

EDIT: completely missed the scripthook update. Back to dicking around in singleplayer!

So with the new update by rockstar, I guess file modifications done in the "old" update.rpf need to be reinstalled?

Does anybody know whether other files besides the update.rpf are affected?

So.. With regards to vehicle modifications (because I don't want to read 4 pages of comments (some of which aren't relevant)) does that mean no for a long time? I'm not entirely bothered, I've uninstalled GTA V and haven't played in for a month now, but I'd play it if I can put the real LAPD crown vic's in! I don't understand why R* must fight the people that purchase their game, so pathetic. I can understand banning mods on Multiplayer but no reason for SP, it's my game, I've purchased it! If I want to change into a whale in the middle of a desert so be it!

​I'm sorry to break it to you, but it isn't your game. It's Rockstars game. You've purchased a license to use the game, accepting the terms that Rockstar put forth by doing so.
