​That's great to hear=) would prefer most of the key binds on a controller and a few others like paramedics and firefighters on my keyboard.  That's just me though. 

Are there any plans to continue working on LCPDFR after the release of lspdfr? This has probably been asked before but I'm curious, I know I'll be playing both. It seems like not a lot of stuff using LCPDFR's API is being released anymore, and thats why I'm still hoping for updates, possibly more callouts? and you know, the general stuff.

The fact that they appear to have used new interiors to do things makes me even more excited. We know the screenshot with the granger is in a new garage, and also has a lot of action going on in it too! I'm excited to see if they use the police station interior from GTA Online, maybe even use parts of the GTA Online character selection place [some sort of LSPD Lineup and stuff] too!

Someone mentioned in another post about the police acting differently, driving differently like more civilized will there be an option to set them to the GTA IV style of chasing like complete lunatics that was great with 100+ cop cars.

They don't have to prove anything to you. These trolling statements are exactly why they don't release stuff more often. Sit down and be quiet like the rest of us.

 

Honestly what a very small number of people have to say in their not very thought out comments isn't a big deal.  The simple reasons that we don't release stuff more often are 1. that we're human and we can only go so fast and 2. we don't want to put out something which sucks.

Sam, I was wondering about when the player gets shot and had blood + bullet holes on his body. Is it possible that LSPDFR would have a way to sort of "clean" or "reset" the skin? Another problem is first person accessories like hats and glasses glitching in first person view

I'll see what I can do about any problems caused by using LSPDFR in first person mode - hopefully the majority of them can be fixed.​  I think a trainer or similar would be better suited for the player model thing.

Sam, will LSPDFR be out in less than a week? What time should I be expecting the mod.

What we do know is we've made amazing progress so far.

The only problem about using a trainer to reset the skin is that it doesn't clean the skin, just remakes it, so you have to change the appearance again, give back your armour and then all the weapons are gone. Maybe if it was possible to quickly reacquire the service weapons instead of every weapon in the game

Just wait for SNT to come out for GTA 5. It will probably have a Clean Player feature like in GTA 4

​Should be easy to fix the first person issues. LSPDFR or another script would remember the hat and glasses selected for the current model, then if you go into first person it would remove them, when you exit first person it would re-add them. The only problem is detecting if in first person. I did not see any native that sounded relevant to that.

Sorry if this has been asked before but how will you run file checks on people without MDTs in the police cars? Will there be a computer system added regardless or will it be done through the radio or cell phone?

The fact the native computer was taken out shouldn't affect anything, because LCPDFR uses its own computer, the same will probably happen with LSPDFR

It did indeed die when LCPDFR 1.0 released, but if I recall correctly that wasn't just because of the traffic, but also because some annoyed(?) asshole though it would be funny to DDoS the website at the time of release. I guess we'll see what happens this time.
