14 May - New Screenshots!

could you elaborate on this?

As you can see in the screenshot, the cars make more of a line when chasing than an absolute free for all, so they don't ram each other out of the way.

Sam, looking at the Californian highway Image, i was wondering if it's possible to code into the files where the last pursuing unit is doing a traffic break like in real life? Would add realism into the game for sure.

Maybe, but figuring out the position of units in the chase isn't as easy as you might think.

Sam, would you also be updating the the LSPDFR page with text information and not screenshots?

Would be nice. You'd have an overview of everything that's public so far. You wouldn't need to open up Facebook, find the albums, etc.

Would be a great summary. ^.^

Cool, but the thing is. I've seen some ingame pursuits in the city, they seem to ram the vehicle a few times, do they still do this? Or do they stay in a line constantly?

The LSPDFR page has all the screenshots and videos we've put out, minus a few which went out on Facebook.

Ah, I see what you mean. You are talking about the screenshots at the very top, right?

I missed them because my focus is on the actual LSPDFR page where the text etc. When I'm looking for LSPDFR screenshots, I'm not really looking to that little bar of screenshots because there are usually random screenshots, for example when viewing a topic or the forums.

Apologies.

Awsome!!! I'm really looking forward to the finished product. I don't know much about modding But I'm sure it's not easy. Keep up the good work Sam and Development team. Can't wait

I apologize if this is a question that has been previously answered but I was curious if the animations work in first person. For example seeing the ticket book when issuing a citation or something like looking down at the suspects hands when arresting. I can't seem to word what I mean very well so hopefully you understand.

Are the devs here involved in the development of the rage plugin hook? Since it looks like you have access to it already, anyone wanna will me in? :p

The RAGE plugin hook is a collaboration between LMS and MulleDK19.

IS ELS included ? Can you make the red and blue lights flash brighter ? Cop cars with led lightbars are really dim looking

ELS is not developed by us, but by Lt. Caine.

As for the LED lightbars, I am sure there will be modifcations for that. Me personally think they're just fine.

Wait, they are related to each other? O.o

That's new to me. Wow.

Would be nice to see Lt.Caine make a working ELS. The lights are so bland, and you can only have them with the siren, no lightmodes

needs some bloom too.

These new screenshots are pretty nice, I like the idea of lined up cars during pursuits.

can you make the vehicles still run after we get out? so strobe lights won't go off...

I'm pretty sure the strobe lights already stay on when you exit a vehicle, but this mod lets you leave the engine running: https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/realistic-vehicle-controls

Very Excited for the Mod itself, but are you guys aware that there is a police mod that is taking over?

You guys need to hurry up ;)

The only reason why it's so popular is to keep people occupied until LMS and Sam work their magic.

Can't forget those beautiful rotaries.

First person mode only changes the point of view, it in no way changes the world around it. That means that the animations should work just fine. If you change camera mode during an animation in normal GTA 5, there are no problems. I don't see why that would be different in LSPDFR. However I can't make any guarantees, I'm not a developer. I'm just giving an educated guess based on the mechanics of GTA 5

I do think you're right, most of first person are just camera modifications. However, there are some animations that can be used only in first person, so just like you, I'm not entirely sure.

you mean the "Police Mod" that leaves empty shootouts, dead speeders, & glitched radars. the mod is nice, but was made before the announcement of LSPDFR. i hardly think anything will surpass the godly LSPDFR/LCPDFR.
