Was playing GTA V all day today, but when I tried stealth mode, I crouched instead of creeping, AI cops were doing it too... Not sure if this could be use, or if it's just some random mod I have.

I'm just daydreaming out loud here but imagine having the cop as 4th character on the character wheel and selecting it activaes lcpdfr. That would be sick.

 

I havent played gta 5 since console launch+7d so i dont know if in the PC version that 4th spot is reserved for something or not , but one can dream! A personalised saved cop with a personalized saved cop car.... wow just thinking about it gets me excited.

Now i just have to wait and get shot down by someone who says it's impossible.

 

Also i really hope for (eventual) good controller support , i really prefer playing gta with my controller. LCPDFR 1.1 is pretty good with a controller but that's just barebones with no other mods , i imagine once you get some other gameplay enhancing mods in addition you practically need one hand on the keyboard at all times anyway.

If you happened to kill off Michael, or Trevor in the last mission, I'm pretty sure a slot would be empty.

I can't get a screenshot of it but if you look from the side, its a equal L and then he moves into a tactical stance when still with a gun. Looks good!

​The development team consist of LMS and Sam, with occasional input from Cyan, members of the Community Team and other close friends to LMS. The "core team" consists of 3 people. 

​Quality is better than quantity that's for damn sure lol. Though it would be nice to have more people on the development team because more people can usually generate more ideas.

Following present mod issues on the other forum, there seems to be an issue with social club autoupdating modified game files before launching the game. Any input on that? Will that affect the mod? ASFIK no solution yet. Some ghettorigged workarounds that make my head spin just reading about.

​Simple Solution: Windows Firewall.... Then there will probably be some nofilecheck mod that'll help

​As ineseri said, there is input from the community team, so there are a lot of  'ideas people' and then the 3 'making it people'.

​And I am talking about more "making it" people. We can throw ideas at them all day and in the end it may or may not go through. More people developing it would get more bugs fixed at a faster rate and more code written.

With all these cool mods like the vehicle persistence mod and the ped conversation mod, by the time LSPDFR comes out, we might as well be simulating real life here.

It wouldn't really be faster; Sam and LMS is a well oiled machine better left to their own devices rather than allow too much outside input :P

​There's a solution already: the OpenIV team have developed a script which allows you to use copies of the original files to load mods, leaving the original files untouched. You can get it: http://gtaforums.com/topic/388289-rel-openiv-including-openformats/page-122

​Yeah I suppose your right because I am surprised they have gotten so much done. I am really proud of the dedicated members here and most of all the dedicated devs.

​No. If a cop knows there's a chance he'll have to shoot some one (which happens in most police involved shootings), he'll have his gun out before he needs to shoot.

is there even a drawing animation?

Alittle off topic but....I was messing around with a trainer and spawned as a Black Ops ped with (Not the crappy one) the one that looks like black water "Beards, Baseball Caps, Droplegs and Plate Carriers" I dont think they fall in the "Law Enforcement" ped models persay but I think that would make a pretty good ped for a Narcotics raid team or like we have where i live VCTF "Violent Crimes Task Force" comprised of detectives that mainly respond to...well....violent crimes. Just a thought and wasnt sure if the relationships would jive or not.
