Everything changes.

IPS4

We've been hard at work updating our community software to the brand new version, IPS Community Suite 4.

IPS 4 brings with it a massive bunch of great new features and updates, including a much cleaner interface, awesome mobile and tablet support and many improvements in the general usage of the website and interaction with the community.

Current Problems

Yes, a lot of things are broken and/or in the process of being reconstructed or fixed!

  • There will be many issues with community content as the upgrade process continues.  These problems are being fixed automatically. Unfortunately, due to the massive size of LCPDFR.com, rebuilding posts and data takes time. We estimate the automatic fixing will take at most one week. This is finished.
  • There is a lot of functionality which is missing right now. We are working on resolving this as soon as possible.
  • There are some issues with profiles - we're working on them! Fixed.
  • The homepage is gone.  We'll be introducing a new one which is actually useful - meaning it includes more content from you, the community.
  • LCPDFR Online Services are down. This includes linking your account, enhanced multiplayer and crime statistics. After the data reconstruction has finished, we'll work on bringing the service back online. See http://www.lcpdfr.com/topic/49645-everything-changes-the-new-lcpdfrcom/?page=4#comment-328244

GTA V

As we continue to work on the website, we hope you're all enjoying the newly released Grand Theft Auto V on PC!  We chose today to carry out this major upgrade in the hope that you'll all be too busy playing GTA V to care.  As normal service is resumed, we'll be having a lot more to say about GTA V!

That's probably because you where use to it though, once its been here for a while it'll probably be a lot easier to use. I have to admit it is kind of fully of stuff, I liked how the old version was structured and where they put the links etc. I have mixed opinions on it, I really do like this theme as well. Also loving how some of my reputation shows on my posts now! Yay!

🕵️‍♂️ Always watching, always waiting.

Wow, this new theme is SPIFFY. Well done. ^^

Yeah, I'm aware part of it is to get used to it, but I indeed as you stated find the pages to be filled to the brim with plenty of stuff, it doesn't look clean and structured as you said. I don't mind change, but I also like to see some organization.

Looking forward to see if it's going to be improved.

"You tell me exactly what you want, and I will very carefully explain to you why it cannot be."

it's alright. At least it looks better on mobile devices and easier to find what you are looking for. With the new version and it's DiCaprio design, it's not that bad but not the best of both worlds that I was thinking about. Anyway talking about the site and its resources are going to be there soon for all those who believe that they can get there.

what do you think that they will add for gtav? I thought that I'll get back things that I don't want... Boo.

looking forward to seeing the new features and services

I dunno, the badges were a nice touch. I hope they bring an option to have those in the not-too-distant future. Not a fan of the new editor either, but of course, functionality comes first.

One enquiry, though - I don't like showing who all has been the last to visit my userpage, is there a way to turn that off at the moment?

Edit: And BenJ's rep score is above -2,147,483,648? what is this nonsense
