Forgive me if I have overlooked it but, how easy or tough are the developers think it will be to cross LCPDFR over into GTA V? Aside from the obvious, "we'll just have to see how the code is written".

I believe that LMS has written about this on his dev blog. It may be a little too "techy" for you if you're not overly tech savvy. 

 

 

There is a part of me that believes that R* has learnt from their mistakes with GTAIV PC and are re-doing GTAV PC from scratch. This would explain the delay, but I don't doubt that it may be a port. 

Calling it right now - no heists.

I mean its a mission in which you go to a bank, walk into a safe, grab the money, and escape the cops. No planning in GTA ONLINE sadly, although they could change that.

The biggest problem though is how they would implement it. I mean if it was a standard corona mission, well easy money, but I bet that there will probably be a wait in between, I mean its not good for the GTA ''economy'' (whats left of it), if the same bank was getting robbed every 5 minutes would it?

 

Also if you have GTAV on PS3 you could learn the bank and find good cover spots and stuff as you can walk right into the bank and explore all of it except the vault

It will just be a port from PS4 to PC BUT it will be at the same standard as the LA NOIRE port (ported by the same guys as LANOIRE), and LA NOIRE was a great PC Port.

Well considering the code will be completely different, is running on a much more advanced physics engine and has so much potential as a game can have, I'd say pretty tough, I mean it is the most detailed map I've ever played, and one of the biggest and best games I've played.

It's been asked & answered many times before, but again:--

It depends on GTA:V & how it works. Only in the months after it's released on PC can anything be said for sure.

Personally, I'm optimistic & say we should see LSPD:FR coming; not anytime soon tho. Still a loooong road ahead.

all i care about is if I can use the same old computer I run GTA IV on for GTA V. 

On a side note, i am still bitter that the map for Tales from Liberty City is so radically different from the main series...

There's no reason to believe that GTA V will get delayed, so I don't know why you're doubting.
