Hey guys first time post here,

 

I've been trying for the past few weeks to figure out how the police behave in GTA V and more or less how they'll react in any possible LSPD:FR mod. Well I've been searching up for info and found this video below with a good 40 minutes of police quotes ranging from the pulling over procedure to more complex situations. I'm glad to see how much they put in here and that's just for the LSPD City Cops.

When lspdfr comes to play, what will happen of LCPDFR?

People'll still play it, for example, when GTA 5 came out, did people stop playing 4 and SA? No, they just played it still. Nothing'll really change in my opinion.

I don't think it'll lose attention completely, some may prefer patrolling the streets of LC. I wish they'd kept the pudding car handling though and not made it so 'arcadeish' kinda makes pitting more of a pain and cars can take a lot more of a beating too.

Yea if we get to that point, then the GTA V version of the mod will be as good or even better than LCPDFR.

 

The only reasons to keep playing GTA IV would be higher PC performance requirements for GTA V or you prefer Liberty City. And i would think after some time, there will be crafty people attempting to convert Liberty City into GTA V.

If GTA V will be more stable I'll switch lo LSPDFR no problem. San Andreas still makes me feel good. GTA IV? Just police work.

It's entertaining, for a while, yes -- but in the end, I lose interest. I just like to fuck around with the game.

Those 'clear the area' quotes... they could be used in a large 'civil disturbance' type callout, that would be great!

Tear gas, batons, riot shields (Netman's find), the Police riot truck, hell there's also a smoke grenade version of the grenade launcher, this could become a riot simulator.

 It is currently unknown for the staff at this time. I beleive the final update will be posted and then lspdfr Will come out some time around March-May Of 2015 : )

Never give out an ETA, as even if you're not a member of staff people will still expect that ETA.
