MikeGoodgot a reaction from DivineHustle in If Called To Arms, Would You Fight For Your Country?I will fight to defend the American people at all cost. I will gladly lay down my life for my country and her people. I will show bravery in the face of danger. I will run toward the sound of battle, not away from it. In a time of desperation, would you fight for your country?

MikeGoodreacted to DivineHustle in Approaching The Release Of GTA 5 for PC!Be safe out there dude, seriously. I've got one more year until I'm headed off to Army basic training. Do they have MoS in the Marine Corps?

MikeGoodgot a reaction from DivineHustle in Approaching The Release Of GTA 5 for PC!Infantry Scout Sniper. Rank of Lance Corporal.
I was going to do MP myself but decided that Infantry would be more exciting. And it has been.

MikeGoodgot a reaction from DivineHustle in Approaching The Release Of GTA 5 for PC!Christmas for me will be spent on deployment with my Marine Corps battalion over in the Middle East. Scheduled for deployment on the 23rd. Shouldn't be too bad though. Past two times I've been deployed around this time of year, I always end up getting stuffed on the base (with food, that is )

MikeGoodreacted to DivineHustle in Approaching The Release Of GTA 5 for PC!So I've been on the forum for almost a year now, and I've noticed that there isn't anywhere members can discuss anything at any time, in one huge conglomerate thread; almost like a chat room. This gave me an idea to create a thread where anyone can discuss anything at any given time! Now while this thread may seem like a cool idea to some, there are a few common forum guidelines that must be followed:
Don't post for the sake of posting, post for the sake of adding something to the discussion. Just posting without really adding something is called spam and it isn't appreciated. Don't flame others. Let's all try to be friends here, and if you don't like it, you know where the exit is. Obey all current forum rules, otherwise I'm sure the moderators will do their job, and do it very well. Try not to take everything absolutely dead serious, that would only give the thread a tense and hostile atmosphere; But use common sense to determine when it's necessary to be serious, and when it isn't. Have fun, socialize with other members, and don't break any rules! :D [TGDT] = The General Discussion Thread So I'll start the discussion, how are you all going to spend your holidays?
Now of course I did consider creating this thread in the 'forum games' section, but I don't think that this could be considered a 'game'; Not sure, a moderator will fix it if necessary.

MikeGoodgot a reaction from Lee10 in War on terrorAs a United States Marine who served two tours in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom, I can tell you that for those of us who have seen the war first-hand, it is not over. In fact, I am facing yet another deployment over to the Middle East due to the conflict in Syria that has erupted. So no, the War on Terror is not over.

MikeGoodreacted to Lee10 in War on terrorI must say sir you're very brave and courageous to do this, may you come back home safely. I agree that ISIS should be eradicated I (I would say that another country should go and fight ISIS, but I sound unfair to say that) unless there is a straightforward plan to destroy ISIS, then I see no point in being in Iraq.

MikeGoodreacted to MayhemMercenary in War on terrorI never said that we shouldn't have been involved before 9/11. So I do not see how I am a hypocrite. I think it was brought to our attention the most when 9/11 occurred, and that is when we had to get involved.
I wish you the best of luck and hope for a safe return. I appreciate your sacrifice for the good of the harmless citizens of the middle east. Those people need protection that their home countries fail to offer. Luckily, we have a great military prepared for this situations. Thanks you, sir.

MikeGoodgot a reaction from MayhemMercenary in War on terrorYou're right, we do need to do something about ISIS. That's why in a little over one week I will more than likely be getting deployed back over to the Middle East. Do I want to go? Heck no. I'll be missing Christmas with my family...again (deployment is scheduled for 23 Dec). But do I feel I need to go to (hopefully) bring peace to an already violent land so that maybe (just maybe) the people in Syria and the rest of the Middle East can enjoy a peaceful holiday week and live to see the New Year? Yes.

MikeGoodgot a reaction from ghost128 in Mdt/mdc [Released]the incidents in the MDT are for role-playing ONLY. They DO NOT actually happen in-game. You have to put some imagination into this. If you go to the "Learn More" section at the bottom of the MDT homepage and you spend some time in the MDT learning how it works, you will be able to use it.
-
MikeGoodgot a reaction from TheRealNoodle in Mdt/mdc [Released]After logging into the MDC, go to the bottom of the page and click on "Learn More". On that page, you will see a very detailed tutorial of how the MDC works and how to use it. Feel free to PM me if you have any more questions.
