  1. There is always a risk my brothers and I won't come home at the end of our shifts (I almost became a statistic earlier this year on duty myself). It is a risk we gladly take. RIP brothers. You are gone but you will never be forgotten.
  2. Another one of my brothers in blue lost. When will the senseless violence end?
  3. As an active duty law enforcement officer myself, I will be the first admit that not all of us walk the "Thin Blue Line". Some of us fall off. A few years ago we had an officer in my agency fall off the line. He was removed from duty and subsequently removed from the agency all together after an internal investigation. His "offenses" were not criminal. They were more civil offenses than anything else (profiling, making inappropriate comments about suspects, etc.,). However, don't take that as me defending his actions. He was wrong and he got what he rightfully deserved (loss of job and authority). As long as I can remember, we have never had an officer commit a criminal offense on duty (that I can recall). In fact, we have had more officers get killed (both on and off duty) by criminals this year than any other neighboring department has in 10 years (most recent officer lost was actually today). That brings me to this: do I agree with what the Obama administration has done by creating a "committee" to investigate state and local officer and department's actions? No. Those investigations should be conducted at the local or state level and the DOJ should only intervene if absolutely necessary. Do I think certain department's could use a review and (possible) overhaul of their training policies and other departmental procedures? Yes. My agency reviews and updates all of its policies and procedures AT LEAST twice a year.
  4. I will fight to defend the American people at all cost. I will gladly lay down my life for my country and her people. I will show bravery in the face of danger. I will run toward the sound of battle, not away from it. I am America's (The World's) 911 Force. I am a United States Marine.
  5. Also, it will be probably be awhile before any other MDTs get released. We're still working on the current one.
  6. We will be in touch once the time comes. Thank you for your interest!
  7. Infantry Scout Sniper. Rank of Lance Corporal. I was going to do MP myself but decided that Infantry would be more exciting. And it has been.
  8. Christmas for me will be spent on deployment with my Marine Corps battalion over in the Middle East. Scheduled for deployment on the 23rd. Shouldn't be too bad though. Past two times I've been deployed around this time of year, I always end up getting stuffed on the base (with food, that is )
  9. This MDT is completely separate from the old one. As for the coinciding incidents, must be pure coincidence since the MDT is for role-playing. This MDT is actually separate from the old MDT. As for the coinciding incidents, it must be pure coincidence since the MDT is for role-playing. And yes, I know I posted the same thing above. I reposted it to quote you (forgot to originally).
  10. You're right, we do need to do something about ISIS. That's why in a little over one week I will more than likely be getting deployed back over to the Middle East. Do I want to go? Heck no. I'll be missing Christmas with my family...again (deployment is scheduled for 23 Dec). But do I feel I need to go to (hopefully) bring peace to an already violent land so that maybe (just maybe) the people in Syria and the rest of the Middle East can enjoy a peaceful holiday week and live to see the New Year? Yes.
  11. you're welcome
  12. As a United States Marine who served two tours in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom, I can tell you that for those of us who have seen the war first-hand, it is not over. In fact, I am facing yet another deployment over to the Middle East due to the conflict in Syria that has erupted. So no, the War on Terror is not over.
  13. the incidents in the MDT are for role-playing ONLY. They DO NOT actually happen in-game. You have to put some imagination into this. If you go to the "Learn More" section at the bottom of the MDT homepage and you spend some time in the MDT learning how it works, you will be able to use it.
  14. That may or may not be released in a future update. We are currently working on some other updates at the moment but we will keep this suggestion in mind.
  15. As of right now, there is no way to update the call type. You can, however, add notes to the call by typing in what happened. As for killing a wanted suspect, you can complete an Incident Report and document it in your narrative. Finally, yes, arresting suspects and executing warrants DOES reflect on that person's CHC record. If you go to the CHC screen and enter the person's 6 digit MNI ID number, you will see all their arrests. Hope that answers your questions. Feel free to PM me with any further questions.
  16. As of right now, there are no plans to build a ticket-writing module for the system. go to www.lcpdfrhq.com. Click on "Sign up" under the log in box. After you complete all of the required fields and create an account, check your email for a link to verify your account. After you verify your account, you will be able to log in and use the system. Feel free to PM me with any further questions. However, we do appreciate the suggestion!
  17. I always knew that Michigan was Republican state but never this Republican. Sign of the times, I guess.
  18. Try mlive.com...that's the # 1 news site in Michigan. they do the Detroit Free Press and Ann Arbor News (and a few other I believe).
  19. As a SWAT Medic and former Firefighter/Paramedic, I can tell you with 99% certainty that this news article is fake. Federal law prohibits EMTs and Paramedics from discriminating against individuals (patients) based on sex, race, age, and any other protected classifications (including sexual preference or orientation). And even if the State of Michigan did pass this law, the first time an EMT or Paramedic refused to treat someone based on the patient's sexual preferences or the EMT's or Paramedic's own religious preferences, imagine the lawsuits that would follow. With all that being said, an legislator would be stupid to even try to pass a law such as the one allegedly passed in Michigan.
  20. You're welcome.
  21. Go to the DL Inquiry screen by clicking on the button that says "DL Inquiry". From there, click on "Generate Random DL#". This will give you a driver's license number. Type only the letters and numbers (no dashes) into the box on the left and hit "Enter" or click the button underneath the box. This will give you the results on the DL Inquiry. Feel free to PM me if you have any more questions.
  22. After logging into the MDC, go to the bottom of the page and click on "Learn More". On that page, you will see a very detailed tutorial of how the MDC works and how to use it. Feel free to PM me if you have any more questions.
  23. I left the Christian denomination parents are affiliated with when I was 10 years old. I joined a different Christian denomination at that age and have never looked back. Age has nothing to do with your religious preferences. My advice is this: pray about it (if you choose to pray), carefully consider your options, and don't be afraid to stand up for what you believe in. You will always face opposition and criticism, no matter what your religious preferences may be. You may have to "wrestle" with some religions before you find "the one". Follow what your heart and conscience tell you is right.
  24. Video won't work for me either.
