Probably because shes the Monarch. Meaning she appoints the new Prime Minister, is in control of the British Armed Forces, ect. They care about there Queen like Americans hate there President. (I like him, but thats my opinion.)

because Her Majesty is a well-educated, well-mannered, nice old lady who attracts people. Judging by your post, She's a total opposite of you.

Yes, because a forum post really determines how someone acts in reality. Get a bit of common sense then come back to this thread and argue.

A lack of knowledge, funny. If you haven't noticed, I'm not from the UK. Obviously I'm going to be ignorant on something as unimportant as that.

You know, maybe it's because she's, you know, the Queen of England?

When Nelson Mandela was alive, we didn't bow down and declare him the equivalent of a God.

You right, it definitely does. Learn some manners and then try to come back and argue.

Clearly you're just as ignorant about the history of your own country as you are the culture of others.

"You tell me exactly what you want, and I will very carefully explain to you why it cannot be."

couldn't you have just said, "why is the queen of England so important or why do people value her so much"? that would have been a lot more polite.

"I'm a marked man, so I'm getting out of here"

You don't make any sense. School has started in your country, may want to pay attention a bit closer.

I would expect an answer as such from a citizen of the UK. You believe in what your corrupt media has you, regardless of if it provides facts and proof. Did you know that South Africa is on the verge of White genocide? Or does your media tell you that South Africa is a united, developing country where everyone is treated equally?

There is a difference between ignorance and lack of understanding. The Queen in the UK is head of the state if you will, it's an English tradition dating back a few thousand years to have a King or Queen who ruled the country, back before politics and governments we had a King or Queen and their advisors who made the decisions they thought best for the country, to go against the Monarchy was an act of treason punishable by death. It's a long standing historical hierarchy that exists not just in England. It's therefore a huge part of our lives, it's not just our "damned queen" or an "old ass lady", she's the royalty that leads our country and continues our history.

You can hopefully see now why people think you're ignorant with your choice of wording. If you wanted to know why it is so many people care about the Monarchy, ask politely. On that note as well, don't rise up and claim people have a lack of common sense. You are no better than him for stating that, because like you said. How can a forum post show whether or not he has a good grasp of common sense in reality?

Please keep this in mind for future posts.

Is that what you're here for? To argue?

I'm sorry, but when you grow up and start to have a little more respect, then I'll happily talk with you, till then, as us Brits would say, cheerio!

It was picked up on half an hour ago in our report system with exactly this reason.  Obviously this isn't going to go anywhere.
