I know right, I highly doubt rockstar is going to take the chance of not releasing it on PC, considering they would lose out on some money.

Tobehonest it's just a waste of money not to release it like people say. I mean what about the wages for the development staff?

I can totally see why Rockstar would just cancel the PC version. I bet they'll cancel the PS4 and Xbox one version as well. Then they'll travel back in time and cancel the PS3 and Xbox 360 version as well!

If indeed canceled, NTAutority and the company just finish it before the end of their version of Los Santos for GTA 4, and I think LCPDFR will be easy to adapt for this card, and we will not lose anything.

I highly doubt that this source is credible as stated above. Rockstar announced all the trailers and pre orders, so for them to abruptly cancel it smells like bullshit to me.

i'm a 110% sure that it will be coming to pc, you an already pre-order it on steam so they gotta explain that if they don't want to release a pc version anymore.

BUT

It wouldn't surprise me if there actually is trouble going on within R*, the strong stance they have against modding in GTA Online, as well as the shark cards and online money system, I see how they could be "loosing money" down the road if it was to hit pc & modders, hackers, ect. were to get to work rendering the money system online obsolete due to modding, and seeing how many steps they take to keep that system intact on console, I wouldn't be surprised to see them take ridiculous steps to keep it working properly and "fairly" on pc.

Yeah, it would make zero sense for the PC version to be abruptly cancelled. That would, as stated above, deprive Rockstar of a pretty lump sum and at the same time piss off the community and waste all that time they've spent on the PC game.

I honestly think they cant take the risk of not releasing for PC.

 

Nothing is being cancelled. No need to believe everything you read on the internet. I think we're gonna have a good laugh at all the BS that surrounded this game before it came out.

The other day, my friend and I were looking up information about it. His source said they may postpone it until 2015.

The only reason people think it's going to be delayed is because Rockstar hasn't said anything else about the game yet (at Gamescon, etc). But...why would they need to release anything new for a game that is already out? There is no need for them to "hype" a game that is only being re-released. The only other thing is that they haven't announced a release date yet. But you never know with Rockstar, they could announce it the day before it releases.

I can completely see why they would cancel it. PC users are cheap and mostly pirate games.

That being said, development on the PC version is probably finished. It's my opinion that even if they decide to cancel the formal release, it will be leaked.

I strongly agree with Jay. The release of GTA V PC will be nice, but think about the users who pirate games for free. Look at people who constantly surf the web to get a game for free. This will cost Rockstar a lot of money in the end. The users will be happy, but Rockstar... a bit "unfair" don't you think? The game's status of being finished is probably true, but we don't know that is true, it could be random guy that does "who knows what" impersonating a Rockstar Developer or he's just making a bluff for attention. We don't know. I don't know. I personally would not blame them for not releasing the PC copy. Although it would be nice, and could lead the Community and Developers to a new direction. Especially LCPDFR, (or LSPDFR) but then again. We (and I) dont know that. We will have to wait and see. Patience is key and is the only "real" answer in this situation.

I`m not sure about this one.if there is a buck to be made Rockstar will make it.I can see it being pushed back past next gen launch but i doubt they will cancel.

What's going on internally: Most likely, they're laughing their asses off at rampant speculation (I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they have a monthly "best of the ridiculous rumors" contest in the company).
