20-40 on max View Distance and with medium setttings

AMD Phenom II X4 945 Black Edition (3,0 GHz)

Zotac (nVidia) GeForce GTS 250 with 1024 MB VRAM

3*2 GB Kingston HyperX DDR2 RAM (800 MHz)

Due to the graphic nature of this post, reader discretion is advised.

Around 45 with max settings on 1600X900.

------------------------------------------------

My specs:

Core i7 Quad-2600k

Zotac nVIDIA GTX560Ti 1024 MB VRAM

2x4GB G.SKILL RIPJAWS Professional RAM with heatsinks installed

40-45 fps with everything on full/high and iCEenchancer 1.35

Asus Rampage III Extreme

Gigabyte GTX580

Intel Core i7 @ 4ghz

Corsair Dominator 12 gb @ 2222 mhz or something

Anywhere from 30-56 fps.

For some reason it tops out at 56fps but depending on what is going on / weather /time of day can drop as low as 30.

Everything on max with the exception of water (med) and night shadows (off)

I have a GTAIV folder with ENB that I sometimes use that hovers at an avg of 30fps. I don't use it much.

i7 930 @ 3Ghz

ROG Rampage III Extreme

6 GB Ram

HD 5870 1GB

And some messed up hard drives that need sorting out

Should note having to render everything at 1280 x 1024 as having to use my old monitor and no new one on the horizon any time ever :)

50-60 FPS. (On medium settings, a little lower if I put it on high)

30-40 when recording with Fraps.

AMD Phenom II X4 960T (4 CPUs)

8GB RAM

EVGA GTX 560 Ti Graphics Card

Gigabyte 990 Mainboard

850 Watt Power Supply

Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit

20-30 fps.

Medium texture settings, rest is on low,

medium view distance, and medium traffic.

Just goes to show, I think there is a lot more to smooth game play than just FPS. Of course FPS is vital but I get twice the FPS than NB but his game play (from you tube anyway) seems a smoother experience. I think this has a lot to do with the resolution your card is rendering at.

Twice the fps but willing to bet he is rendering at a far higher quality than my 1280 x1024.

30-56+ FPS at 1920X1080 I've been using VisualIV 1.7.7 with Ultimate Textures 2.0 and the only thing I miss from ENB is the way it rendered the emergency lights.

i5 740

MSI P55-GD65

8 GB Ram

MSI Twin Frozr II Radeon HD 5850 1 GB

Anywhere between 2 - 20 fps at 800x600 windowed with ALL settings at their lowest and NO vehicle mods and various game and GPU tweaks for performance.

Intel Mobile Core 2 Duo (P7450) 2.13GHz

Samsung 3GB DDR2 (5-5-5-15) 332MGHz

Nvidia GeForce 9200M GE 529MHz 256MB (400MHz)

Just goes to show, I think there is a lot more to smooth game play than just FPS.

I have never seen anything in the FPS argument, I have had to put up with crap computers and just 20FPS from a game is fine.

You are using the WRONG right theme!

Oh,if everyone is confessing about their mods,I think I should too.So in addition to my above quoted post,I use VisualIV 1.7.7 combined with RealityIV 1.62 and LOTS OF (mind you I mean it) LOTS N LOTS OF car mods (I think almost 90% of the cars have already been modded),have ELS installed and 20 extra cars added. So,it gets me to around 45fps at 1600X900.

50-60 fps

All running on max except the view distance is on 50 and the distance detail is on 75

I am also using ultimate textures 2.0, Ice enhancer 3.0, More Liberty, and Enhanced Trees

1176 x 664

Dual GTX 550's

AMD 1090T x6 @ 3.2ghz

16Gb ram

20-30 on low settings with ELS cars. I also found that Sgt. Kanyo's timecyc files remove stuttering for me, and it acts kinda like ENB.

Sticks and stones may break bones, but 5.56 fragments on impact.

I think you basically have to trick your system, just remember that GTA IV does not support SLI or crossfire.

I am getting about 36FPS the lowest and 59FPS the highest all thanks to commandline and my system config just for GTA IV

My settings:

Resolution: 1980 x 1080 (60Hz)

Aspect Ratio: 16:9

Texture Quality: High

Reflection Resolution: Very High

Water Quality: Very High

Shadow Quality: Highest

Night Shadows: High

Texture Filter: x16

View Distance: 100

Details Distance: 100

Vehicle Density: 25 I just hate having too much car around

Definition: On

VSync: On

My System:

EVGA P55 MICRO- The worst for overclock but I used turbo boost

CORE I7 875k OVERCLOCK? @ 4.0 GHZ- It's finally stable since I have the H100

12GB DUAL CHANNEL OCZ- I crank up the voltage to 1.65 for overclock

500 GB Internal OCZ SSD- This only help me with loading time, that was a gift, cost too much..

2TB Caviar Green WD- This where I stored most of my mods

GeForce GTX 570 XLR8 Edition 1.5GB- As long as I keep the Temp between 35 to 70 degrees celcius, my FPS is stable

Nvidia GTX 460 1GB- which I used for PhysX only, my fist graphic card

Corsair H100 water cooling- Keep the system very cool

Rocketfish 900w- I was on a budget but it does the job

Around 35-55 depending on traffic, vehicle detail, explosions, etc.
