  1. Dhruv's post in Police car problem was marked as the answer   
    Add a new .img. And update your images.txt, gta.dat, default.dat, cargrp.dat along with the new carcols, vehicles.ide and handling.dat. Thats because these are the files engine reads a vehicle-related data from.
