Its pretty clear, how many times did you un-install GTA IV or forced to revert to a backup, or uninstall your mods? My signature says my amount... 5 times. How many times have you un-installed GTA IV? Even the number zero will be an answer (lucky number).

Many times, nuff' said. Haha I've had to do it so many times that I can't count them anymore.

I learned to keep a folder with the original files and keep my edited files backed up before I make an edit to them but at least 6-7 times.

In the past two days since I've bought the digital download?  Let's see....

 

Wait, I don't have enough fingers and toes to count that high.  :P

 

Come to find out it was some of the vDH scripts (Police Helper mostly) not liking 1.0c.  Oh well.  I actually find the LCPD stuff more fun than the actual storyline.

I've got 3 directories for GTA5 so I don't really uninstall, I delete the directory and copy it again from SteamApps. Uninstalls, however, equals 1 on my old PC due to only having 250GB HDD space.

Though my backups folder is a sight to behold haha. Total 694 megs in 936 files and 54 folders. I'll let it speak for itself:

I would say I had to uninstall it 3 times. When something goes wrong, I usually just revert my vehicles.img to vanilla. The only problem is I have to install new cars. I don't backup mods.

23 to be exact. I kept screwing with enb's that messed up my game.

A few times, usually it's because I got tired of it taking up space.

only 3 the first time was when i screwed up installing a car. other 2 were when i didn't have textures and didn't know how to fix the issue .XD 

Oh god. When i was learning the basics, oh god no, it's too much.

I've stopped counting at 50 times. Oh the good ol' days of IV

Probably 10-15 times for me

Enough to say that I'm done with GTA IV.

If I crash more then 4 times or so in a row, I bin that install and paste my back up. I've done it a good solid 20 times or so, probably more.

We shall not speak about that good sir....

I never really uninstalled.  I have multiple backups (a fresh vanilla-copy right after Steam DL, a "good" copy with known-stable LCPDFR and ENB, a "good" copy with LCPDFR but without ENB, a "running-backup" of my current configuration, and an ENB testing copy).  If something goes wrong, I delete the folder, copy a backup of choice back in, then I'm good to go lol

Sometimes i uninstall GTA 4 by choice because i barely play it, or it's wiped due to me reformatting my computer.

 

i only need to re-install if a i screw up or my game just breaks, but i normally use a backup file

I only did a actual uninstall maybe 2-3 times. Then I learned its much faster to just make a entire copy of the IV directory and if I screw something up I just paste that back in. I keep a vanilla backup as well as a current backup that I use to do every few weeks depending on how much stuff I was changing. Now days I don't change much anymore besides cars/guns/peds so there really isn't much to screw up there.
