View Past Crime History - Add Realism

Just an idea. If when we pulled someone over, or stopped someone on the street, when we run their ID we can see their past crimes. Yeah, I know it can't be saved on each person so if you would run the same person twice, their history would be different. But if you just run them once it could be a cool feature, and probably not too hard to add.

Example. If you see a vehicle pull into a suspicious parking lot near a building, you can go talk to the driver, run his ID, let's say he's active, no warrants, valid license, BUT, in his past, he has multiple B&E's - you would then, well, be careful? Do more checks on the building to make sure he's not breaking in or anything.

Most people would probably have nothing on their record, but I think it's a cool idea and would add realism. Maybe you stop someone on a minor traffic violation and they have 30 previous traffic violations for different things. You can see a list of all of them and what they are, which can help in making a decision whether to ticket them or not.

Hope this make sense, give me feedback, let me know if anyone else thinks it's a good idea.

It would be an amazing and realistic feature :D

Yeah this is great, especially since we now have the ability to check ID's on foot. It wouldn't really make sense to get information about the number of traffic citations a ped has had if you've just pulled them up walking along the street.

Glad this idea seems to have positive feedback, I hope to see it in LCPDFR soon

To add to this a little bit, I'd imagine it looking like something below.

Past history of crimes:

Arrested on 3/21/1999 for Assault with a deadly weapon, 9mm handgun was used.

Cited for speeding on 5/5/2013

Arrested for trespassing at 310 Owl Creek Ave, on 9/3/2004

Given a verbal warning for loitering outside the Ron Gas station on ______ Ave

You get the idea

I support this.

Yup. Would give me a reason to ask them to step out of the car and see if they're carrying anything. Maybe adding a percentage chance of finding something for what types of priors someone had.

That'd be amazing. LCPDFR could use dynamic stuff like that.

That would be awesome.

I'm seeing some great ideas here. When these are implemented, it'll make LCPD:FR that much more fun, interesting, & realistic. I love it

Good idea OP...most of the work to implement it would probably be the guy writing out the random ped data records for LCPDFR to reference.

Also might add who the car is registers as well, as it would help when trying to figure out if you want to arrest a guy for a ALPR "stolen vehicle" alert.  Sometimes the driver will not have warrants or even tickets, but he's got a stolen vehicle.  If busy I just assume he "borrowed" the car, let him/her go.

Good day,

Yeah, but the car and who it's registered to wouldn't match up to whoever you pulled over, unless there is some way to have it synced up, but then it would complicate things. It's a cool idea though! Unless you just have a thing like "Registered Owner: No." or "Registered Owner: Yes."

Something like that.

It would be good when we Check on the Pedestrian ID , the following text will come out as

Name of the Suspect

Dob
Address

License plate no

Nric

Previous crime history

And instead of the current Active warrant , can we change to WANTED for what cases , as in

NAME :Dorito roger

AGE   23

NRIC   57464874735

ADDRESS  PORTLAND STREET 35
STATUS = WANTED FOR ROBBERY AND DRUG CASES OR CLEAN

Would be nice to see someone implement this with our API :O)

So it is actually possible for third party modders to do things with the available api tools other than new callouts? That is exciting. I look forward to seeing what people can do.

Yes it is entirely possible :) I'm working on something right now which is almost entirely irrelevant to callouts but is integrated with the API so it functions nicely and can be called by any callout I so choose :P
