That's definitely not cheating. I also tested from a university connection. Turns out, when you go to a university, your internet connection is generally provided by the school.

Pretty good for the UK I think. :P Recently got Fibre Optic and I am definitely liking it.

I don't see how one can be "exempt from any accusations." An accusation is a claim that someone has done something wrong. You can't be exempt from someone's claim. You may be able to be exempt from cheating, but that would be cheating.

To be fair, Sam was to a city 200 miles away, while my result was to a server which is a) close (~50 miles) and b) on a network adjacent to my school's network. So, I tested down to Washington, DC, which is around 250 miles away:

How is the ping that high to that host? On my computer, "ping localhost" gives *way* shorter times.
