  • You probably knew this but just push V in the game to snap a screen, its like a built in fraps, thats how I take all of mine. They save automatically to a Microsoft Flight Sim X folder in your picture

  • Screw that mathematical nonsense, I always began my descent whenever it felt appropriate, never went wrong. Say, anyone play X-Flight 10?

I used to play it a lot but now I hardly ever play it. Your picture is awesome, are you using any graphical mods? I don't remember the game looking that good.

Here's a screenshot I managed to dig up on my imageshack account. It's the CaptainSim Boeing 727 with some Hong Kong scenery, I can't remember what company the scenery was made by though.

Cool to know others play this too. I've been waiting to show off some screens. I have a lot more if you guys want to see them just let me know... Enjoy!

Graphic mods include, multiple scenery's, ORBX Global, REX 4 Texture Essentials (some photos are older and I'm using a older version of REX in those), FS Global Weather. Graphics sliders are at about 80% with decent frame rates. Some of the aircraft pictured: PMDG 777, Carenado Beechcraft 1900, Carenado C90b, F18, Carenado 208B HD with G1000 displays. I don't remember the exact locations of everything, I'll post it by the photos if I know it. No editing or enhancing has been done to any of the photos.

I fly with a Saitek yoke, 2 Saitek throttle quadrants and Saitek combat rudder pedals. Recently purchased this setup over the course of 2 months and I couldn't be happier with it. Brings a entire different aspect into the game with the right equipment.

Yeah, It's mainly ENB's like you would use for GTA. Also other miscellaneous things like REX and stuff.

I was literally just playing this for the first time in a while...odd.

Unfortunately, I don't have any screenshots.

I have this theres a police car mod for it somewhere

What? A police car mod for FSX? Why would anyone need that. The only thing I could see it being used for would be the cars that drive on the road but you see those for a matter of seconds when flying over. I don't even have them turned on

Back on topic - ford4ever, is that the Project Airbus in your first photo? I have it and always meant to learn to fly it but I just cant seem to pull myself away from PMDG and Boeing's, I know the 737NGX and 777 so well and it took forever to learn everything that I can't imagine doing it all over again lol

I didn't know that, thanks. That will probably work better than Bandicam. Since I run it in a window, Bandicam would probably capture the border too.

Oh, yea your welcome. You can edit the key binding for it in the settings if you'd like it set to something else. I think its under "capture screenshot" but just look for whatever is mapped to V. I'm not sure about bandicam capturing the border or not. I don't play in windowed mode and I've never used Bandicam so I wouldn't know either way.

It's actually the Aerosoft Airbus A320.  And I know what you mean. I love the PMDG aircraft. Such quality and realism!

Used to play it a lot, until my pc died. Lost the CD now.  I remember having a screen of my Air Force One being escorted by F-16 Falcons, I'll try find it later. I used the flying formations mod to do that, if anyone wants to know.

i bought FSX a while ago (together with a joystick) but i really never got into playing it that much. I used to play Flight Simulator 2002 a lot (back in the day with my dad) but i never really got into FSX. Like i said. i bought it but i haven't played much.

Maybe i should give it a try.

I used to play FSX years ago. I had over 1,000 hours of flight time accumulated and I even bought a flight sim joystick and rudder pedals.

Sadly, I haven't had the time to play anymore and I lost all of my screenshots over the years. If it wasn't for college and other things, I'd still be playing. When I did play, the F/A-18 Hornet and the A321 were my favorites. I never used add on aircraft, really.
