ThatRandom reacted to Sam in Our Response to Channel 7 NewsChannel 7 News in Australia ran a story regarding LSPDFR yesterday, misrepresenting that LSPDFR and other modifications are used as a simulation for killing police officers. This has since been picked up by other media outlets, as well as the gaming press. Obviously, this simply isn't the case, and you can read our statement regarding this matter below.

ThatRandom reacted toDeactivated Memberin Whats the LawFirst off; you're asking for relationship advice on a GTA IV modding website. I'm not saying that there aren't experienced people in that field on here but...
Secondly; the statement "The Badge has it's benefits" is the probably the most disrespectful, outrageous statement I've ever heard relating to people in Law Enforcement.ThatRandom, if you are a real Law Enforcement Officer; you would not be saying things like that; it's disrespectful to the actual men and women who have worked hard to earn their badge.
It's not some piece of metal to be used to get what you want from girls; or other people. It's a privilege to have a badge and to be in Law Enforcement; it's not your right.
Think about that.

ThatRandom got a reaction from AgentCharles in New uniformsI work at the Western Australia Security Firm *WASF* and we received our new Uniforms and equipment today.
Just to list a few Items
-Steel extendable baton. (We were still using the old Long handled ones)
-New dual mag holder
-New handcuff case
-new ring key holder
:Uniform:
-The colour is Blue now. not the older Light blue
-the pockets are Mono buttons now not dual.
But anyway I'm happy about it because I don't have to lug that big long Nightstick around anymore.
Just thought I should tell y'all.

On a serious note, depends on where in Australia you live,
For the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Northern Territory, Victoria, & Western Australia, age of consent is 16 years.
For Tasmania & South Australia, age of consent is 17 years.
Only Queensland makes a distinction b/w different types of activity, for anal, age of consent is 18 years, & for all other, age of consent is 16 years.
So, unless you live in Tasmania or South Australia, you should be okay (if you live in Queensland, no anal until you're 18 years old).

Hell no.
When you hear about legalizing marijuana, you always hear that it will lower crime and boost the economy. To be honest, I think that is the biggest load of bullshit. With the regarding crime part, just because you legalize something, it won't lower crime. All you are doing is not calling it a crime anymore. Mine as well legalize grand theft auto, this way everyone will have a car and we'll have less crime. With the economy, it's a mess for the US and I think we will not gain anything from legalizing it in relation to the economy. If this becomes legal, just think about how many lazy people their will be and what work would be like if everyone showed up to work stoned. Nothing would ever get done.
The US has so many other problems to worry about, this is not one of them.

ThatRandom reacted to Agey in Please sign. The United States government cannot and does not look into your emails and listen in on your calls. They must have warrants to do so. Even if they do, who cares? What could you be talking about that is so private that some guy hundreds and thousands of miles away will listen too? I just don't understand.. Because then, when the security is loosened and a terror attack occurs because of less monitoring and security, then the same damn people will be complaining about the lack of security anymore

ThatRandom reacted to CouthInk4 in Ex officer shoots man texting in theatreThat shooting was definitely not justified, I could understand if the guy had a weapon or the ex cop felt his life was in danger.
But shooting an unarmed man.. Over texting during a movie? That is ridiculous, The shooting could have been avoided. Because of this 71 year old's stupidity, a girl has to grow up without a father.
this ex cop is a disgrace, i'm thankful that he is no longer on the force. And i'm glad the other officer did the right thing and charged him for murder instead of trying to get him off and claim it was self defense.

ThatRandom reacted to Slimory in I'm In A Pickle...This kind of thing I wouldn't normally post here but I get the same answers from everyone... Recently my mom allowed my 12 year old step sister to get a 6 week old puppy which is the runt & within the last 2 weeks 3 accidents have occurred: 1) My 17 year old step sister put her in her basket on my moms chair & walked away only to have her climb out & hit the floor & she injured either her back leg or her ribs 2) My 12 year old step sister had her on the bed and wasn't paying attention & again... hit the floor & hit her head and has a HUGE goose egg.. & lied about it.. 3) My 12 year old step sister wasn't paying attention and kicked a slipper across the room for whatever reason.. & the puppy was in it.. I don't want criticism, I want advice because I can understand 1 accident.. but 3? she is going to the vet on Thursday & I have no idea what they are going to say, animal cruelty is not something I want to be involved in but this is what they may see this as, I have a 2 year old shitzhu-apsp apso & so does my mom, we love our dogs like they are our kids, but i'm really not sure what to say or do. I keep getting told she's "only 12" but that's no excuse for such carelessness & stupidity..
