What is the most accurate Police show no television right now?

It's not fake. What they do is they do a ride-along for several weeks/months and film pretty much anything that happens. Then they edit out the parts that are boring (paperwork, giving out tickets to "normal people" etc). COPS is a realistic show, but they don't show all parts of policework. They can also re do some segments if the sound during a interview was bad. An example for this is when the show starts, there's always a small interview with the officer(s) before they respond to a call. This is most likely redone sometime.

COPS is there to entertain a audience (you). They need to edit it so people will watch it. Another thing to note is that everyone (officers and other participants of the show) must sign a document which shows that they agree to release the videos of them.

  • I don't buy into that at all, dude. You can't fake pursuits on public roads, or officer involved shootings caught on dash cam, or a dying child with lungs too big for its body, etc. And most actors I

  • I think Cops might be the most accurate...

  • COPS hand down. A good show which depicts the most real-life incidents handled by the members of Law Enforcement and the most accurate in terms of how incidents are handled as well as suspects.

There is a series that I have heard of called 'Police Women of Cincinnati, Broward County, Maricopa County, Dallas and Memphis. Okay that is multiple series's.

Cheers.

Police women of Maricopa County.

My favourite cop show on TV even tho it didn't run very long.

"The beat" IMO is the most realistic show. It's a show the Vancouver PD has out and follows VPD beat officers. Very good show.

I'd have to say COPS, I love the marathons that are always on but I HATE the commercials every...30....seconds...

It's pretty hard to say which show is realistic. They're all different.

I think for day to day life: COPS, Highway Patrol (Aussie), RBT (Aussie), The Force (Aussie), The Bill (even though it wasn't that realistic.. It was still good)

Getting involved with Cops personal and professional lives: COPS (first season), Some CSI moments, and SouthLAnd

Detectives: any of the Law and Order, the detective aspect of SouthLAnd.

SWAT: S.W.A.T (80's TV Show)

those are my opinions, i can't say much for Adam 12, Hawaii Five-0 etc since i haven't watched them.

Edit: I also forgot about Crime Investigation shows. That would have to be for CSI: Las Vegas (that is based around the evidence and how it is used to catch the suspect whereas CSI: Miami and New York is based around the people, the guns and the cities)
