Hi Guys I was just wondering what are your favourite LCPD Packs? It's just that I'm planning on making a LCPD auto installer pack (if given permission). This auto installer will include cars, weapons, sirens, scripts etc. Basically everything you need apart from LCPDFR. Thanks

Then that's probably around $14,999,910 more than we normally get a year.

I've decided to make a thread that'll list all the bugs we've found in ELS v8 so far, so it may make it easier for the devs to know what they should fix.
This ain't no offical thread, but since I haven't found anything like this, I suggest everyone writing the bugs they found here.
    - Secondary light patterns cannot be saved
    - Warning lights' and secondary lights' enviroment lights don't take notice of the multipliers (at least I can always see their enviroment lights even at daytime while primary lights aren't visible)
    - Significantly more crashes in MP, then with the older ELS (els v5 mainly)
    - When you hit "fix car" extra5 and extra6 lights gets rendered (they turn on)
    - On some of the cars used by the AI, unused extras gets turned on with the primary lights (for example the secondary lights are still on, even though I disabled them to come on with the primary lights)
    - I can't seem to increase the night multiplier to a level I'd find suitable
    - I can't seem to increase the flash delay to a suitable level (lights still flash too fast at sp = 5, mp = 5)
    - Updating the document on how to make rotator lightbars (drota)
    - Insanely low fps in MP after some random time
    - When you have different patterns assigned to different siren modes, it seems when you jump back to wail or turn off the siren, the pattern gets set back to 00
    - Adding the flash delay function to every vcf file (this may not be a bug, but it's impossible to recreate certain patterns by having an overall flash delay)
    - Using E-28 pattern in leds for primary lights has different intensity for certain extras. (extra1's and extra4's enviroment lights seem to be more intense then extra2's and extra3's)

ACTUALLY, I did the wrong name...I did a name on the first page by accident then changed it when i realized there were like 4 pages...I stuck to the rules...Glanced at the name, and closed my eyes to type it...It's just a game like you said, who could have such a long stick up their as* to put out a comment like that. Unbelievable, and your staff too...Are they all that immature?

**EDIT** And did you really delete my post because of that? Do you guys have something better to do? Because last time I check all you staff were complaining about how understaffed you were..

    Community Team & Staffing Update (July 28th & August 1st, 2014)

In keeping with the continuous development of the site, we're in the process of making a few changes and additions to the Community Team.  As such, LukeD and willpv23 will be joining the team as our newest pair of community moderators.

Luke and Will are both longstanding LCPDFR members and are well known figures throughout the community.  Many will know Luke as the author of popular GTA IV script modifications and LCPDFR API plugins like Callouts+.  Will, on the other hand, was a staff member on LCPDFR's old SA-MP server, FCRP.

Additionally, we're also going to be making some changes to the International Community forums.  This might include the possibility of adding new forums for new languages, and we might take suggestions for these at a later date.  In the mean time, however, SuperStumpje will be joining the team as the new Dutch Forum Moderator.

In my original post, I also mentioned that we'd be adding a new member to the team and trying out a new role.  Sometimes we're criticsed for dealing with issues concerning modding but not actually having mainstream modding experience. In some ways there's some merit to this, so Sgt.Kanyo will be joining us in an advisory capacity, offering his take and advice on a range of community management and moderation issues.  I can't stress enough that the Community Team is exactly what it says on the tin - a team of members who dedicate their time and their effort to the community and its improvement.  We're always looking for people that we think can help us with this, and the team here is always committed to delivering the best for everyone.  We do have to make some difficult decisions, but it is because we do this that this site is still going and growing.

As always, we hope that everybody will join with us in welcoming our new staff members to the team.

    Sam.

I get bashed for it a lot, especially from Sam and Ben, but my username is what the captcha was back when I created my internet persona (when I was in the Oblivion modding scene). Hadn't any idea what else to put in, so I went with it. That was about 6 years ago, stuck with it since.

But I'm pretty sure that is the only one, since most modelers that have been releasing regularly didn't have access to ELS or how to map for the new version until 2 days ago.

Released =)  I thought, what the hey, I believe in sharing; I already created it, why hold it back.  Added just a couple minor URL's to the car, made the carbon fiber hood more realistic (carbon fiber was too "thick" in the beta version), and darkened the stripes on the white design.  Oh, and I changed the lighting scheme to red.

I'm only doing this for fun, I don't think it will be seeing a release.  It will be fun driving it around the airport, or editing the handling to extreme levels and having fun on the runways =D

Hey, guys.  Just a little something I'm working on.

There doesn't seem to be many skins for BPM's awesome Jaguar XF police model, so I thought it would be kind of nice to create one, but a unique one.  Since I love the Jaguar XF and auto racing, it naturally leads to me creating a Safety Car skin for the XF, for the fictional Jaguar Cup racing series.  A safety car is the equivalent of a "pace car" for American racing.

This specific XF resides at Silverstone Circuit in England.  What do you think?  Any suggestions, comments?  Does anyone care about the Jaguar XF?  I know this doesn't really relate to LCPDFR, but I think it's something unique that could be used for those who also play racing mods on GTAIV.

    Definite work-in-progress.

I'm a new member on the LCPDFR forums, but I've followed the mod since its initial release.  I never really seriously played it until the latest release (1.0b).  Since then, I can't play it enough (and I've also tried many of the previous versions for various reasons).

I have spent a LOT of time experimenting to try and get my installation stable, and I think I am finally making progress on that front.  I rarely crash now, and when I do it is generally the common 'freval' error.  That said, I usually get an hour plus of play time so I'm pretty happy.

I just wanted to post here now to say a huge THANK YOU to the LCPDFR team.  This is the greatest mod I have ever played.  It's rather unfortunate it's just a mod as it really deserves to be its own game, but I'm not complaining.  At the same time, I would like to also say another huge THANK YOU to Lt. Caine and LMS for ELS v8 ... it totally revolutionizes LCPDFR!  I chose not to use ELS before v8 as I couldn't get past the 'door bug' and no damage, but now with the changes I will never go back to vanilla.

So, to Sam, LMS, Lt. Caine, all the staff here at LCPDFR and all those other individuals who make the awesome mods to enhance our LCPDFR experience ... THANK YOU ALL!!!

I look forward to a long, enjoyable stay here.

It would be pretty cool if something like this could be made but at least the crashes aren't as bad at GTA SA Freeways they used to all go at like 100mph +
