i hope there will be an option to be able to run code 3 lights with cars moving over without a siren like the / button

You can actually hit the / button while driving with ELS lights on, and cars will pull over. / and ELS aren't mutually exclusive.

i know but then you have to hit it couple times to turn it off...would be nice to see an els version have that implemented when you turn on the lights

Terrific! Lighting modes! I can now stop using the lighting modes from LCPDFR which aren't meant for ELS and don't work that well.

C.  going to be busting out some new vehicle models as well?    I did notice in the video NB posted that familiar site of other emergency vehicles with various lights on their light bars illuminated while driving normally.   I DO HAVE FAITH that bug will be a thing of the past in V7.  I CANNOT WAIT, Lieutenant!  After this you will be MAJOR or CAPTAIN Caine!   Your post was removed because it was off topic, this is a topic about the announcement of ELS V7, not a discussion of comparing modifications. If you want to discuss what upcoming mods will be better than each other, then create another topic. Other wise it seems the post you have just made (the one stated above in a quote of you) was an attempt not to try and show us not liking competition (which is quite the opposite, we actually enjoy it, gives us a reason to grow even further) but rather to show you being annoyed that your post was removed. If you have an issue with a post being removed, speak with a member of the Community Team, or even make a report, otherwise posts like the one you've just created really aren't helping your case...

I just watch NB's latest video earlier today.... I am really looking forward to this. Each time it just gets more exciting!!!

Finally! Got tired of using ELS v5 due to incompatibility with most new models and ELS v6 for being crash prone. Keep up the good work Lt. Caine!

I just wet myself... this looks absolutely fantastic. Whenever I can get my dang game to function properly, I'll be patiently awaiting this release.

 

On a side note, Nic, what is your ENB setup? It looks beautiful.

I tried that ENB and had some problems (as in I died and when i respawned at the hospital the buildings and junction took quite a while to respawn) + i had a game crash, and before people say its prob your hardware i have a QuadCore processor 16gb Ram and an Nvidia GTX660 2gb gfx card and can play GTA IV on maxed out settings and still get a respectable 55+ fps.

Just doing that, has never worked for me , only Feroci2 and Stretch work that way as you mentioned. However, I know there is Custo way of achieving this, but that's more of a hack, without proper environment lighting.

Are you saying that you cant get ELS on in other vehicles, or vehicles won't pull over for the ELS siren?  ELS can be enabled on every car that is normally in the game, I have enabled it on many vehicles in the els.ini that I sent you.

I have almost the exact same setup as you, make sure you have an Intel processor.  Nvidia hardwired the 660 to only work with Intel products.  I got my 660 when I had a 3.4ghz Phenom II x4 which I was very happy with, but after hearing that, at which point I already had the 660, I had to upgrade to a Intel i5k processor.

Reef, I have the same setup and have no problems with that ENB

...edit...just saw you were running a AMD processor...I have the Intel 3570K....never dips below 57 fps
