I fixed it, it ended up being that it wasn't loading old ones or something, so I just reinstalled the new ones and it worked.

This did the trick for me. I'm not sure what ASI's are, but my mods all appear to be working. This stopped the crashing when loading GTA

I'm assuming you use the OpenIV 'mods folder' feature.  If so, open up your update.rpf in OpenIV and hit the 'edit' button and it should give you a prompt at the top to re-copy the new update.rpf.  All you have to do to fix it it hit the button it prompts you to.  That should fix the crashing problem, however, I can't get the new ScripthookV to load any of my ASIs...at least not the openiv.asi that allows the mods folder.

In GTA as it is now, I would have to say no.  The GTA mechanics and style wouldn't really be changed by kids, so why add them? I could somewhat see them in a game more like Red Dead Redemption where your character had morals and crimes carried over, so there were consequences for your actions in the long run; that being said, I will not be disappointed if children do not make an appearance in the next Red Dead.  
 
It might be cool if they were included in the GTA series in a limited style, similar to that of the Fallout series, but I do not think that children should just be roaming around the streets only to be run over. What I mean by this is characters in the story being children, mainly, your characters children.  That would add an interesting spin on the story.

If there's anyone who has a some-what negative view of the Detroit Police Department, I hope this video changes your mind.  This awesome act happened yesterday.  I have a feeling this has happened before, but I've never heard of it until now.

I doubt we'll lose 70,000 + members just because we couldn't release an update to a FREE modification before GTA V was released.
 
Besides, there's no decent policing sidemission in V (that we know of), so people will come back to IV to play LCPDFR until we (if its possible) port it to V.

The only thing i'd like to see changed/fixed is the xbox360 controller compatibility, [LB] doesn't work for me at all whether its in the Police Station, Open a trunk or arrest, the amount of times the so and so runs off while i'm looking at the keyboard to press E by the time i look back at the screen the guy is half way up the road probably laughing his you know whats off   

I'll be honest, it just looks like they ripped from Emergency 4 and put it into something made by the Unity Engine.

This wasn't made by the same people who made Emergency 4. Sixteen Tons Entertainment had nothing to do with this and to be honest could claim copyright on everything used in this game unless the models and sounds are open source material which I highly doubt.
 
Furthermore, it just looks horribly built. The controls are awful, the AI are incredibly stupid and the graphics are horrendous. Gameplay isn't much better. You head to one area, complete a basic call and then head to another area.
 
I haven't even played the game, but I've seen enough to say that there is no way this game is worth even 50p let alone £25.
 
Someone will probably say "You do better" but to be honest with you, I probably could.
 

To one of the previous posters, Washington DC IS a gangland, no doubt about it.  They just luckily had a slow homicide rate this past year, but that's the first time in 38 years.
 
To be honest, I'd say Baltimore, St. Louis, Detroit, Chicago, or New Orleans are US Cities that are deserving of serious consideration.  
 
Philadelphia could be another place as well.  Camden, New Jersey is right across the river from there, so just like Los Santos involved San Francisco, Los Angeles and Las Vegas being lumped together, they do the same format with Philly, Camden and Wilmington, Delaware.
 
Personally, I'd like to see Seattle on there, but I'm totally bias.  However, there is some merit.  We have a rising homicide rate, the gang scene is re-igniting here, and we have three distinct communities that could be profiled.  Seattle, Tacoma and Yakima.  Yakima, though a mid-sized city at best, has risen to the top 10 in auto theft in the US, and has itself a very increased homicide rate.
 
At the same time, I recognize that Seattle, even though starting to become a crime-ridden city-still does not present the way LA or NY does.
 
Internationally, I think Indonesia would be a spectacular setting, simply because of the culture clash that is occurring there.  On one block, you'll find first world class, and on the following block you'll run into third world disarray.  I think that could create the most intriguing story line that the GTA series has ever had.
 
If not there, somewhere in the Eastern Bloc would be great as well, where human trafficking is becoming the "normal" way of life.  That could be the first time that GTA profiled a female as their lead character, which would be equally interesting.

Detroit a.k.a. The Motor City a.k.a. Motown, or Chicago a.k.a. The Windy City a.k.a. Chi-Town. A roaring 20's theme or post Vietnam War theme would be nice.

That GTABay websites might really help, I can't find anything that directly looks like that, but do what I do, F**k around with a bunch on numbers till you get something that works.

well I wouldn't want them to remove it in the next version or change the key... but what they could do is put a setting in the .INI to change the key for the police computer, or enable/disable it

I've been using Savior ENB and it's nice. Dark areas are actually dark, more realistic.

Yes that's true but you don't need an i7 for gaming because games don't utilise everything an i7 gives. Just saying that an i5 will be perfect for gaming, unless you do other stuff that may utilise more than 4 cores and 6mb of cache.
