Ambient Emergency Response - Customization 2.0.1

(18 reviews)

1 Screenshot

This mod creates random emergency vehicle responses that will come pass the player. The player should shut down any major intersection to let the emergency vehicles pass by.

Make sure to put AmbientEmergencyResponse.dll and AmbientEmergencyResponse.ini into \Plugins\LSPDFR folder.

Take a look at the INI at least once to make sure you are satisfied with the settings.

You can enter cheat-code "ambientresponse" to force an ambient response.

I put both files in the plugins LSPDFR folder and played the game for 10 mins and didnt get any ambient responses, what did I do wrong?

You can force one by entering cheat code ambientresponse.

In any case, by default, it creates one every 5-10min.

Interesting for sure.

Would be really good though if they were actually responding to some small issue created nearby.

Car accident for fire/ems

Downed pedestrian for just ems

small fire for just fire

Man with a knife/gun for police

Small things that the player could jump into to assist, but are not overly complicated for the AI to "handle" on their own.

i think LSPDFR Comes Alive by darkmyre has a "downed ped" scenario. it got annoying after awhile as sometimes ems will come out of nowhere and take your arrestee or your partner. this is a good idea to expand upon especially the fire one.

Hiya, really liking this mod, is there any way to let it use add on vehicles? Cheers

Are the ambient responses something that you can join in on for immersion (i.e. chasing whomever the police are going after) or are the responses just something to add flavor to player's world?

Either way, this looks like an awesome mod.

It's just for flavor. The mod is very simplistic, so the units are just randomly driving around.

That's still pretty sick. Cool idea, dude!

Hi officers! I've been using this for a couple days now and can confirm it has no impact on performance on my end as it should be the case for most users with a middle to high end config & settings running at 40-55 fps consistently (sometimes 60 :D) with up to 5-10 backup units during callouts or pursuits. The only things that would need to be adjusted are the fact that the ambient response vehicles indeed stop when having code 2 or 3 lights/sirens as it has already been reported before, but they also stop at red lights which is a bit unfortunate 🤣 now i can't tell if this last part is a consistent issue or not as I just noticed it, but one thing that is certain is that half the time they won't be noticing peds or cars like I've seen firetrucks & EMS commit hit & runs multiple times, going 80 mph in front of the Davis Court & Sheriff office and crashing in some SUV thus killing the driver instantly now I should say that it has me laughing everytime cause lets be honest this is basic GTA spirit and I find it hilarious but I think the author @OJdoesIt would like to know about that if he doesn't already. Which brings me to thank you for this wonderful plugin because it is an essential replacement for any kind of ambient event like the ones provided by LSPDFR or Albo's Traffic Policer events that do impact performance when this particular mod here doesn't seem to at all. So big thank you mister this is some pretty sick work

LSPD First Response: Exception message: Could not spawn new vehicle.

Could you fix this? It crashes my whole game.

I found a bug and i could it also reproduce on a clean GTA V and lspdfr installation, basically you just have to go on duty in a police station and then off duty and then again on duty and lspdfr will crash, until now I just can confirm this in the DownTownStation, but I think its true for all stations or the general on duty, off duty process.

LOL, I was jus thinking of this mod this morning and was panning the net for its name. Now bam i find it due to looking for something else NICE! It's exciting to be on a traffic stop and hear the sirens coming and see a few npc's running code 3 to no where. But it makes the game feel a bit like how it is when i'm on patrol at night!

Have you considered making it so it uses LSPDFR backup configs for the vehicles so it's not just the default vehicles?

Does this mod still function correctly with the newest LSPDFR update?
