Our goal is to create an immersive K9 experience while keeping the plugin easy to use, customizable, and compatible with different patrol styles. ⭐ CURRENT FEATURES🎙️ REAL-TIME VOICE COMMANDSOne of the biggest features of K9 Sentinel is its voice-command system. Instead of constantly opening menus, simply hold your configured push-to-talk key and speak to your K9. Using Groq-powered speech recognition, the plugin processes your voice and attempts to identify the appropriate K9 command. Voice-controlled actions include: Deploying and dismissing your K9 Following your character Staying in a designated position Loading and unloading from vehicles Searching nearby vehicles Pursuing and apprehending suspects Releasing suspects on command Voice commands and your K9's name can be customized through the configuration file. 🎤 CUSTOM ANIMATED VOICE UIK9 Sentinel features a modern, microphone-responsive voice interface. When holding your push-to-talk key, a custom UI appears displaying a glowing cyan audio waveform. The waveform responds to your microphone input, creating a visual indication that the plugin is listening. UI features include: Real-time animated audio waveform Voice recognition and processing feedback Recognized-command notifications Fully movable UI positioning Adjustable UI scaling using + and − Customizable colors, sensitivity, and appearance Saved UI settings between sessions 🚔 K9 VEHICLE DOOR POPPERDeploy your K9 directly from your patrol vehicle using a customizable keyboard key. When activated, the system opens the appropriate vehicle door and releases your K9. Your K9 will then move toward your character, ready to receive commands. The system includes a safer deployment method designed to reduce injuries caused by vehicle doors and collisions. Includes: Customizable deployment key Automatic vehicle door opening K9 deployment and recall Temporary deployment injury protection Automatic door closing Support for compatible vanilla and add-on vehicles 🛡️ AUTOMATIC HANDLER PROTECTIONYour K9 isn't just there for searches! With Handler Protection enabled, your K9 can automatically respond when your character is physically attacked. This system is designed to help protect the handler during dangerous situations. Configurable options include: Enable or disable automatic protection Maximum threat detection distance Engagement duration Engagement cooldown Optional armed-threat requirements Optional line-of-sight checks 🐕 NON-LETHAL SUSPECT APPREHENSIONK9 Sentinel includes a simulated non-lethal apprehension system. When you command your K9 to apprehend a suspect, the dog pursues the target and attempts to bring them to the ground. Instead of immediately returning after a takedown, the K9 remains engaged with the suspect until you issue a release command. Apprehension features include: Suspect pursuit and tracking during engagement Simulated bite-and-hold behavior Suspect knockdown animations Continued restraint until commanded to release Customizable pursuit and apprehension settings The system is designed to avoid direct lethal attack damage, although GTA V physics and other plugins may still cause injuries. 🔎 VEHICLE SEARCH OPERATIONSCommand your K9 to conduct vehicle searches during traffic stops and investigations. K9 Sentinel includes an experimental evidence system intended to support narcotics detection and integration with Stop The Ped. Please note: Stop The Ped evidence synchronization is still under development and is not yet guaranteed to match Stop The Ped's vehicle-search results. ⚙️ FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE CONFIGURATIONWe want users to have control over how their K9 behaves. Download and extract K9 Sentinel. Install K9Sentinel.dll into your GTA V Plugins folder. Install the included configuration files in their designated locations. Configure your microphone, Groq API key, and preferred settings. Launch GTA V through RAGE Plugin Hook. Deploy your K9 and begin your patrol!
