Siren Mastery

Siren Mastery is a script modification that allows you to master your siren tones. Toggle to your secondary siren at the press of a key/button, silence your siren using any key/button you like and even control exactly which 'secondary' siren plays! You can be up and running with Siren Mastery within 5 minutes (installation tutorial click HERE).

Requirements - some of these are included (credits go to their appropriate authors):

Albo1125.Common 6.6.4.0 or higher (included)
RAGEPluginHook 0.51 or higher (not included)
NAudio 1.8.0.0 (included)
A legal copy of GTA V (version 1.0.1011.1 or above).

There is also a download to free up unneeded controller bindings so they can be used for Siren Mastery. Get it here.

Summary of current features (please check documentation carefully too):

Change the Siren Toggle key/button and assign it an optional modifier key/button.
Change the 'lights only' toggle key/button and assign it an optional modifier key/button.
- This works even if your siren is off so you can control whether your siren should play before turning your lights on.
New 'Toggle Secondary Siren' key/button with an optional modifier key/button.
- This allows you to switch to secondary sirens without having to hold down a key/button.
New 'Toggle Bullhorn' key/button with an optional modifier key/button.
- This allows you to keep sounding your bullhorn without having to hold down a key/button.
- Works simultaneously with sirens.
New 'Next Siren' key/button that cycles to the next siren.
- Can optionally include the Off state as a cycle stage.
Your siren now stays on when you leave your vehicle and you don't mute it.
- This can be disabled from the GeneralConfig file.
Determine the siren tone that should be playing.
- You are able to select which siren tone to play, including the ability to differentiate between secondary sirens.
Additional Siren Modes
- Dual Siren Mode.
- Manual Siren Mode.
Additional customisable sirens per vehicle model.
- Allows you to have up to TEN total sirens per vehicle model.
Fully Functional and Customisable UI.
- Feel free to create and release your own custom UI files.
- The size and position of the UI can be customised via the UIConfig file.
Customisable Siren Switching Tones (like Siren Switch Honker).
Sirens are fully customisable per vehicle model via an XML file.
All keybindings are customisable and fully customisable controller support is included.
The vehicles.awc size and length limits are effectively removed while using Siren Mastery, allowing for greater siren variety.
British Users: You can now have British Siren Switch/Toggle sounds (in other words, horns!). Simply replace the relevant files in the Plugins/SirenMastery folder with the ones included in Siren Switch Honker's download.

Hey @Albo1125, my game was working fine last night, but now every time I get in the car, the bullhorn starts blaring and will not turn off, even when exiting the vehicle. Any suggestions?

Hey Albo,

Followed your instructions. However I have the volume set your default, can barely hear it. I modified it to 0.09 and when I alternate sirens, they're so quiet, then spike really high. Don't know whats wrong....

Hi Albo

I just wanted to let you know that when playing around to get your mod to work to my liking if you use @Delco24 to disable both the horn and lights and keep the horn on your mod activated. You can't use the horn to move a stopped suspect with Traffic Policer.

Just wanted to let you know.

Again many thanks for all your hard work. Makes my gameplay much more enjoyable

Hi-hi. Using default configuration (I haven't even touched keybinds yet!), I spawned in a lifeguard Granger, and it seems it's crashing the plugin. I'm able to reproduce it consistently - tried twice, succeeded twice. I noticed on the second attempt to reproduce the issue that it's showing all 10 siren buttons on the UI, if that means anything.

Just figured I'd report it - not like I use the lifeguard Granger for anything.

No, it just crashed 5 minutes after launching game by RH. Also your troubleshooter doesn't give me any issuess from MasterySiren.

The crash in your log was caused by DisarmV.

Never heard of that before - you may want to remove it.

Thanks, I'll try it to remove this mod. but I observe something else. My game crashed when I use VocalDispath, but I don't want to remove it because it is amazing mod. Can you look at it?

Hi-hi, me again, seems you can add the Police Riot to that list. Same stack trace insofar as I can tell; log's attached anyway. I'll run down the list of vehicles and let you know if there are any more.

Edit: Seems it's just those two. Minor (trivial!) issues with wrong sirens, though - the PoliceB and Sheriff2 use the same siren as the Police1/2/3.

Yes. Look for this Setting;

//Default: ToggleUIKey=L
ToggleUIKey=L

That's the Key you'd Press.

You can also disable it by default in the UIConfig.ini file. This is also explained in the documentation and the tutorial video.
