Siren Mastery is a script modification that allows you to master your siren tones. Toggle to your secondary siren at the press of a key/button, silence your siren using any key/button you like and even control exactly which 'secondary' siren plays! You can be up and running with Siren Mastery within 5 minutes (installation tutorial click HERE).

Requirements - some of these are included (credits go to their appropriate authors):

  • Albo1125.Common 6.6.4.0 or higher (included)
  • RAGEPluginHook 0.51 or higher (not included)
  • NAudio 1.8.0.0 (included)
  • A legal copy of GTA V (version 1.0.1011.1 or above).

There is also a download to free up unneeded controller bindings so they can be used for Siren Mastery. Get it here.

Summary of current features (please check documentation carefully too):

  • Change the Siren Toggle key/button and assign it an optional modifier key/button.
  • Change the 'lights only' toggle key/button and assign it an optional modifier key/button.
    • This works even if your siren is off so you can control whether your siren should play before turning your lights on.
  • New 'Toggle Secondary Siren' key/button with an optional modifier key/button.
    • This allows you to switch to secondary sirens without having to hold down a key/button.
  • New 'Toggle Bullhorn' key/button with an optional modifier key/button.
    • This allows you to keep sounding your bullhorn without having to hold down a key/button.
    • Works simultaneously with sirens.
  • New 'Next Siren' key/button that cycles to the next siren.
    • Can optionally include the Off state as a cycle stage.
  • Your siren now stays on when you leave your vehicle and you don't mute it.
    • This can be disabled from the GeneralConfig file.
  • Determine the siren tone that should be playing.
    • You are able to select which siren tone to play, including the ability to differentiate between secondary sirens.
  • Additional Siren Modes
    • Dual Siren Mode.
    • Manual Siren Mode.
  • Additional customisable sirens per vehicle model.
    • Allows you to have up to TEN total sirens per vehicle model.
  • Fully Functional and Customisable UI.
    • Feel free to create and release your own custom UI files.
    • The size and position of the UI can be customised via the UIConfig file.
  • Customisable Siren Switching Tones (like Siren Switch Honker).
  • Sirens are fully customisable per vehicle model via an XML file.
  • All keybindings are customisable and fully customisable controller support is included.
  • The vehicles.awc size and length limits are effectively removed while using Siren Mastery, allowing for greater siren variety.
  • British Users: You can now have British Siren Switch/Toggle sounds (in other words, horns!). Simply replace the relevant files in the Plugins/SirenMastery folder with the ones included in Siren Switch Honker's download.

Are the lights supposed to come on with the sirens when you hold down the Manual key/button?

when i use the mod and load it up through ragepluginhook, asoon as it comes to near-loading all the plugins completely it says you are missing file GTAV>plugins>sirenmastery>vehicles, i never saw a "vehicles" in the download folders anywhere. could i get some help with this please?

From the documentation:

Part 2: Preset sirens installation. 
3. Using OpenIV, navigate to GTAV\mods\x64\audio\sfx\RESIDENT.rpf
4. Using OpenIV, right click vehicles.awc.
5. Select Export to WAVE (.wav).
6. In the dialogue that appears, select the following folder: Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\SirenMastery.
7. Click OK and wait a few seconds for OpenIV to extract the files.
8. You should now have the following folder: Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\SirenMastery\vehicles. It should contain various .wav files.  
9. If you ever install new in-game sirens using OpenIV, repeat Part 2 to configure them for SirenMastery as well.

Ok so I dont know why its doing this, but the SirenMastery.dll keeps crashing when loading. It was working fine in my last game session. 

@Albo1125 any idea why ever since I started using this all other sirens are muted, such as when I request code 3 backup they have no sirens, its almost like they are running code 2. But same with the firetruck and ambulance, no sirens unless I am in them using this script ?

Albo, here's a future Suggestion for you.

When you activate the Airhorn/Bullhorn, Traffic should move over just as if you were using a Siren.

However AI can't use this mod, it's still a leap forward. But I get some volume bug pretty often, well, in 99% ... Sirens are incredibly silent, and only once upon a time, they have the right volume.

Hi Albo!

Great fan of your mods! I havent been back playing LSPDFR for almost six months. Thought I'd check back and experience all the new mods and updates.
I really like this one I must say! So eager to try.

And as you can imagine, it was much to my dismay when my game has started crashing on startup. I've tried to track down the issue, but to no avail. The crash started happening when I updated the albocommon file (as it told me it was out of date). Are you perhaps able to take a look at my report generated from Ragepluginhook? I find it difficult to interpret the information on it and perhaps you'd be able. (if you have time that is!)

It would be so so so appreaciated, as I really want to get back into playing LSPDFR again. I even got a new rig for this so I've been having fun with enb and reshade too :) LSPDFR with that would be sick!

Unfortunately, AI will only pull over if your lights are on. If you have your lights on and use your horn they'll pull over.

I followed exactly your installation instructions but the vehicles file won't appear in the SirenMastery folder in the plugins folder.

It's nothing to do with any scripts as they're not getting the chance to even load yet.

I did that. But they are correct volume in the begining and then volume goes down ...

I started using the meta files included to unbind the vehicle controls and now found I cannot navigate the lspdfr menus with the dpad. Is this something that can be fixed by editing the meta? Or is it simply the way the controller config/lspdfr works & unable to reconcile?

i noticed this too, i edited the .meta files my self to only remove the following

Is there to just whelp the siren quickly? I used to use J (not sure if that default) tto turn on the siren and if I wanted to have lights on, but no siren unless at red lights. Now, my j binding is not working.
