By saying that this petition will counterbalance the pro-PC, you are implying that you believe this petition to be serious since the pro-PC one is. Being successfully trolled, I believe, depends on what the troll intended. In this case, it appears that he intended for the petition to be thought of as being serious while he wasn't actually creating it to be serious. Since you thought it was serious, you sir have been trolled. Why the hell am I arguing this? Not like it matters at all.

Yea, I don't know how people would know any cheats without even having the game. I wonder if Rockstar even put any cheats in the game...There were only a few in GTA IV (compared to every other GTA). There might not be any, or very few, since they are trying to be more realistic; but there might be a lot because they're trying to bring back the fun of the previous games that didn't exist in IV. Could go either way, really. Then again, it is Rockstar we're talking about and everyone knows they like to have a lot of hidden content in their games.

Even if Rockstar did care about that petition, there is NO way they would take it seriously. The only way to actually get a message across to anyone is to do it in a professional manner. Leaving "To" blank, not filling in "[Your Name]," and the only reason being "So PC Gamers learn their lesson and stop stealing games" will definitely NOT get a message across to anyone. Having it fully filled out, with multiple (or one REALLY good) reasons that give details on why the petition should be taken into consideration might actually work, but not this. The only thing this really shows is how incompetent console users. The comments by PC gamers are the only ones that make any sense. The only thing I see Rockstar doing with this is sharing it with everyone as a joke. Also, GTA V has only been made for consoles and people have already pirated it. Before it's even released.

Yeah, I can't predict what I'll do first either. Usually, when I play an open world game I like to stay in character - so if someone calls me telling me to meet him, then a mission marker pops up, I'll go there. But with everything you can do in this...there's no telling what I'll do....

For one, I don't understand why you said "RC3/1.0." 1.0 is no where near RC3 and the reason it was called RC3 is because it was a Release Candidate. 1.0 is a full release, not a candidate. Sorry, things like this are one of my pet peeves - VIN number and PIN number are the main ones though...(the N stands for number, you don't say "number" after saying VIN because then you are saying Vehicle Identification Number number). NB was just running the version of LCPDFR he has...If you actually watch the videos, there are not any new features shown. It's just .95 RC2 on steroids. Just wait until the preview tomorrow as stated on top of the website and you'll probably see just how RC3 was never worth releasing. Also, pretty much from when .95 was released, the plan was always for the next release to be a final version (1.0), which has not been ready. Pretty much the whole script has been modified or rewritten or whatever else - all by two people (http://devblog.lcpdfr.com/). Now obviously, I'm not a member of G17 and don't actually know any facts about what has been going on, but I do pay attention.

Los Santos and Blaine County are not states...LS is a city and BC is a county. They are in the state of San Andreas. If you look at the license plates on the cars in the screenshots and videos, it says "San Andreas" on them.

Personally, I think the PS controller has a shitty design. It isn't comfortable to hold, the analog sticks are awkward...it just isn't really designed to fit in a hand as well as the Xbox controller. Also, I like Xbox Live better because it...well, I don't know really...it just seems like a better service (like having the party system where you could talk to your friends no matter what game you are playing (usually - some game modes in CoD are an example where you can't)), but then again PSN is free and is much better than Xbox Live Silver (the free version that you can't do shit on). Each system has it's pros and cons. On topic, in that picture with the red plane a few posts back, is there a police car on the ground that is completely black but has a lightbar? Also, as I said in the topic about the map, the city seems small because the map doesn't show a lot of detail since it's zoomed all the way out. The whole map is about 50 square miles and it looks like the city takes up about a third of it, meaning the city is about 17 square miles (this estimation could be way off). GTA IV was only 6.8 square miles. LA Noire is only 8 square miles. Of course, the scaling of each map could be different. There's a picture comparing GTA IV to GTA V out there and it looks like Los Santos is about the same size as Liberty City (hence why my estimation is probably way off or GTA IV is actually bigger - too late to research any more of this).

The main city appears to have few streets and is not large at all, but it obviously isn't showing much detail. The surrounding area appears to be just barren land, but there isn't any detail whatsoever there, so obviously it will better in game.

When you force duty, make sure you start LCPDFR first with Alt-P. Then you press CTRL-P.

This looks like the error that happens either when the script is trying to use something that no longer exists (which shouldn't happen due to the amount of checks Abraxas has put in place to prevent that causing the script from crashing) or it's just because the game is overloading with things to do. After playing for a while, especially with a lot of scripts, GTA because more and more unstable due to the amount of things the scripts are asking it to do. Abraxas, however, would have more knowledge on what really is the cause. For future reference, the >vdH Police Helper topic would be a better place to post instead of making a new topic. This way Abraxas will see the problem and will be able to assist you (well, when he gets back from vacation). Also, your question may have already been answered in that topic.

Most likely because the script can't load either the vehicle model or the character model associated with it. Could you post what's in your vdh_errors.log and ScriptHookDotNet.log files?

For people who don't want it: did you play Mafia 2? Plus, I don't see this confirmed anywhere by anyone even remotely reliable.

Obviously everyone in this topic didn't see the part where the video game made the gun appear within reach of the child and the video game made the parents allow the kid to play it in the first place. Obviously the game's fault.
