  1. If you plan on "upgrading" that, the first thing would be a whole new motherboard. That PC has DDR2 RAM. You're going to want DDR3 which isn't compatible with PC's using DDR2. It has an Intel Core 2 Duo which uses an LGA 775 socket. The best way to upgrade the processor would be to go to at least an i5 which requires, I believe, an LGA 1155 socket. The PCIe x16 slot is generation 2 where you are going to want PCIe 3.0. Based on what the case looks like, you're going to need a whole new one so your PC doesn't overheat with the upgrades. Basically, upgrading that will not work. It would be better to save up money to at least buy something worth getting to be upgraded, but I would suggest building your own computer on a website such as cyberpowerpc.com
  2. They literally just started making the game and already people are complaining? It's like saying a book will be a terrible read before it's written... Because of this, I just went and played Police Quest (the first one) and Blue Force. I love Police Quest (except having to figure out what it actually wants you to type - usually it's obvious though) and the part of Blue Force before you go on disability is amazing (the part where you actually are on duty as a police officer). The only thing I wish was different was that you actually drive to the places instead of just clicking on them in Blue Force.
  3. I've played the demo. It's fun, but I never bought it because the demo satisfied my flight sim craving at the time. I might play it again at somepoint.
  4. I read that this happens when the save game becomes corrupted. I've had this happen and the car wash thing happen and starting a new game fixed both problems.
  5. There are no modded police cars. He is playing on EFLC. There are more original police cars in The Ballad of Gay Tony (police3 - buffalo, police4 - stinger, policeb - bike, APC - APC)

  7. http://youtu.be/ttkBTg6_egc (Skip to about 23:50 if you really don't want to watch the whole thing, but it is interesting how the orbits all change throughout the video.) The end of the world as simulated by Universe Sandbox. If it doesn't end because of the Earth becoming the closest planet to the sun, then it definitely will when it shoots away from the sun. According to this, that will be in the year 3448. Note: Please do not take this seriously as this is a video game (hence why it's in the Gaming category on YT and Other Gaming on here). Who knows if it will really be like this. It's also really interesting how the solar system slowly dies. Eventually, it seems, every planet will shoot away from the sun according to this game. Get the game on Steam today: http://store.steampowered.com/app/72200/ Music is Shadowland by Simon Wilkinson (played 3 times), used with a license. Check out his site here: http://www.thebluemask.com/
  8. I didn't read the whole thread, only the posts before my previous one (on the first page), but I'm going to say the same thing here as I just did on Facebook: Everybody complains about the news being wrong and biased, etc. but then everybody follows everything they say. I'm all for knowing current events and stuff like that...but things that actually apply to your area, your nation or the world. Yes, you can complain about the "system" but it's the same "system" that takes serial killers, real murderers, rapists, and all that good stuff off the streets. I haven't read much about the whole George Zimmerman thing because it doesn't really interest me, but it seems like something that should have stuck to that area. There's no reason for it to be worldwide news.
  9. There's a protest going on now: http://www.11alive.com/news/article/298840/8/Demonstrators-protest-in-front-of-the-Seminole-County-Criminal-Justice-Center Police scanner thing that was linked to me by a friend: http://www.broadcastify.com/listen/feed/14479
  10. Then there's a conflict between ELS V7 and Siren Control Tool. The problem is that ELS V7 uses its own siren system, not GTA IV's native system. Siren Control Tool uses GTA IV's native system, which is why it is playing the horn. In this case there is no way to scroll through tones automatically every few seconds.

  12. ..........................that's the point. Sum Ting Wong (something wrong), Wi Tu Lo (we too low), Ho Lee Fuk (holy fuck), Bang Ding Ow (noises I guess).
  13. You can't blame "America." It was an intern, most likely a college student as internships are generally done in college, doing something he wasn't supposed to do. The news probably contacted the NTSB and he was the one who picked up the phone.
  14. 1) Park the cars in the spots you want them in 2) While in the vehicle, open Simple Native Trainer and go to Car Options. Open "Car Load/Save" on the bottom of the second page 3) Save the car to Slot 1 4) Repeat for every vehicle, putting each one in a different slot 5) Next time you start the game, go back to Car Load/Save and make sure "Load Near Player" is disabled. 6) Either load each slot individually or use the load all cars option.

  16. I have the disk because I bought it before I started using Steam. If I were to buy it now, I'd buy it on Steam.
  17. If you got it from steam, it is automatically updated. You shouldn't have to install the patch.
  18. From ELS User Guide.
  19. I like GIMP, it's free and easy to use. Paint.NET is good too, but I prefer GIMP.
  20. Money. If they say that GTA V will be coming out on PC now, then a lot of PC gamers will wait for that. If they do not say that it's coming to PC, then a lot of people who play on PC and consoles will buy it for console when it comes, then possibly buy it again later for PC.
  21. This is the first thing I thought of when I saw the topic's title: lol But seriously, that's a really cool light that I would definitely like to see on a car.
  22. Check out this different lightbar on the bottom left, like the one in the artwork above:
  23. Just have to wait and see what comes in future updates...
